This stuff is fantastic! It helps keep the water from getting absurdly murky and helps any detritus to be easily separated and cleaned out. It helps the filter and makes the water environment much better for my baby turtle! It has healthier shell and skin and isn’t shedding too much because of bad water conditions. This is a great size because a tiny amount goes a very long way! Simple to use.

When it works, it works really well but…
I have a Red Eared Slider and an African Clawed frog (aquatic). This has worked amazing for my turtle tank, that in combination with the snails I got, allow me to be able to only have to clean his tank once or twice a month! However, my frog tank, it only seems to make things worse. I’ve had to change on a weekly, if not biweekly, basis since using and it has made it smell worse than ever before… I guess it’s not right for all but when it works, it freaking works!

I normally don’t write reviews but, this solution has changed my life! Like I literally was about to give my turtles away… I was so tired of cleaning that tank… It would become dirty within a week…🙄I ordered this not knowing I was gonna break my ankle in the same week. Y’all I’m telling y’all I put this in their tank on the 9th of August. It’s currently August 25th & I can still see them clearly in the tank and it doesn’t smell how it normally would. I did add a few more caps full last week just because, I can’t clean right now due to my ankle being broke.Buy it! It’s definitely worth it!!!Oh I forgot to mention that the tank was dirty when I originally put the solution in and over a couple of days I noticed it started clearing up.
