This plus a larger litter box fixed my kitty’s eliminating outside the box issue!
My cat started pooping (and twice, peeing) just outside her litter box. I think she may have been having some tummy troubles with her food, but then even when that settled down, she still kept “missing” her box. I bought this Fresh Step litter attractant AND a larger litter box, and the combination of the two– sprinkling a generous amount of this attractant in her new, larger, box — helped immediately. She hasn’t had any problem pooping or peeing outside the box since, and that was a month and a half ago. So I am not sure if this product would have worked only by itself, but as soon as I used it (I sprinkled some in the back of the box, so she would have to go all the way in ) she was definitely curious, went in, did her business successfully and we haven’t had a problem since. I hope sharing my story helps someone else having a similar issue.

Litter box attractant
We are acquired a toy Pomeranian puppy. She is deaf. We are potty training her on P P pads. Initially she would not do her business on them, but instead on our floor and we knew we could not have that. I purchased fresh up litter boxattractant and began sprinkling on the pads lightly. Within a day or two the puppy would come over and void on the pads and has continue to do so. The product also helped with odor control. We were very pleased with the product would highly recommend

Good stuff, but shaker top is no great shakes.
This powder helps encourage our cats to use the litterbox. The package leaves a bit to be desired. The flip-top has holes under it, but the stuff just does not come out when I shake it. I had to unscrew the whole lid and sprinkle some onto the top of the litter (trying not to inhale all the dust in the air that way). Then I “folded” it in a little with the litter rake.

I tried this to get my cat to use the litter bot and it didn’t do anything. It might be great for kitten training but it did nothing for my stubborn little girl who refuses to even try it!

Worked for retraining my adult cat back to his litter box
After a bout with crystals in his urine and in-and-out stays at the vet, my six year old cat decided that the litter box was his enemy. I bought wee-wee pads after having to get rid of about 3 mats that were outside his box as he kept going on them. He started going in my plants too.I think this saved our relationship because during his most recent vet stay I bought this and sprinkled it in his box with unscented litter. He came back, sniffed his box and immediately went inside to use it. He did try the new mat a couple of times, but I washed it and sprayed it with a urine destroying enzyme. I kept sprinkling the attractant in his litter box and it kept him interested. He kept trying to go back into the box, despite his pain.I’ve been using this attractant after every litter change and it seems to have worked to retrain him back to the box.Relieved customer for life.

Acclimating Cats to new Litter Box
I used the Attractant Powder to acclimate my kitties to their new litter box. It smells nice and they seemed to like it. I used it with a clumping litter and it didn’t stop the clumping action. It is a bit dusty, but I use an anti-dust litter, and it was fine.

It works!
My 5 month old kitten that we got from the Humane Society was most likely a stray so she didn’t really know how to use the litter box as she was going outside of it on the pee pad or on the furniture. I bought an unscented litter and sprinkled this generously into the box and mixed it in per instructions and the very next time she had to go she went right in the litter box!! We kept using this for about a week until we knew for sure she knew where to go. I’m so glad this worked so quickly! I absolutely recommend this training aid.

Use if your kittens need help learning the litter box!
We really enjoy having this, especially for 3 cats. We had three kittens we kept from a stray mama cat and one of them just couldn’t figure out WTH to do in a litter box and I’ve never had that issue before…. So we tried this, and it worked immediately! We only had to purchase once and it got our little tiny baby using the box like she should! Our cats aren’t bothered by it at all, and it works well with our clumping litter. Definitely recommend for a home that has a cat that may not understand right away the use of the litter box. So thankful to have found this product!

The reason I bought this was to mix in my cats litter tray as she has been of late doing her poo business outside the corner of the litter tray. I made sure her litter tray mix was non scented and mixed around a tablespoon full of product in the cat litter tray. Low and behold she is now doing her poos in her litter tray and not outside the tray. She immediately started sniffing her litter in the tray and after a while I noticed she had done her business as she should do normally. I am so pleased as it worked and I don’t have to pick up any accidents outside her litter box. I also looked up u tube videos for advice on what other people did with their cats behaviour. I’ve been using this for my cat who has gone outside for all of his life (he’s 11) and would not use the litter tray when we moved house. We have used this for the past two weeks now and he has only gone outside of the tray twice. I don’t know whether it is just because he’s now decided to just use it or this product, or a combination but it was definitely worth buying. We were keeping him confined to the kitchen in case he did anything on a carpet but now we can let him roam the house without any worry.
