Solid Pet Camera, Outstanding “Smart” Features
I bought the Furbo Mini 360 because I am a new dog parent and we are working on leaving my pup at home and monitoring her separation anxiety. The Furbo Nanny (subscription required) is really something else; it can accurately inform you if your dog is crying, howling, or barking. It plays calming music if you want, to help your pet relax while you’re away. Whenever it detects an event (movement/bark/cry/howl), it records the event and let’s you go back to see what happened at what time, in what sequence. Set up was easy on my iPhone, and I don’t imagine it to be much different on other platforms. It uses a bamboo-like material for the top cap, which is a nice touch.Camera quality is impeccable at 2K even under low light, while $75 for a device that requires subscription is a bit high, keep an eye out for prime day and you can get them for a good deal! I’ve also tried many other cameras on the market and this Furbo camera does not require you to separately purchase an external storage card which is also a plus. The only complaint I have for this device is that although it has a 360 viewing angle, panning up or down is somewhat limited. Otherwise, this is a perfect pet camera for those owners who gets just as anxious as your pup when you first start leaving them home alone!

This is my 4th Furbo camera and probably the best. Having a compact camera with the 360 option and 2K resolution is great. I use these to keep an eye on my 3 mini Goldendoodles while I’m out. They are easy for my family to use and give us all the features we need.

Great for Staying Connected to Pets—Even Calms Them Down
I got this for my daughters who are away at college and missing our dogs—and they absolutely love it. It’s been such a sweet way for them to still feel involved in our pups’ lives, even from far away.We ended up putting regular kibble in the treat dispenser because the girls were so excited, they kept triggering it nonstop! It shoots treats out with good power and timing, and plays a bird noise to let you know it’s about to release a treat, which is honestly kind of funny to watch.One surprise feature I didn’t realize it had was the calming music that plays when the dogs bark. It actually works better than I expected—our anxious one seems to settle down more quickly now.Setup was super easy and only took a few minutes. All in all, it’s a fun and functional gadget that’s made a real difference for both the dogs and the humans. Highly recommend.

Peace of mind
I love the Furbo camera. The quality is very good, and it captures my dogs movements, barking, crying, etc. The security alerts have already been extremely important. My dog was on her side and crying and couldn’t get up. I was able to contact a neighbor to go over and help her. This has given me some peace of mind some sense of control for my precious elderly senior dog.

UPDATE NOV 2020: I bought another one (when it was on sale for about 40% off, I would not pay full price if planning on using without premium features – Furbo’s premium bundle may be a cheaper option if you are willing to shell out the full price) about a year and a half after my first purchase as I had to leave my first one behind in a different country when I returned home due to COVID conditions. The first time around I had the premium subscription feature, but this time I decided I only need the treat tossing and camera feature so I am currently using it on regular features. While I was on the sub, they would periodically send surveys asking things like which features would you like, how much would you be willing to pay for these features, etc. They have since taken away many of the free features and added them to the sub so obviously the rest of their clientelle is richer than I am. But they did keep the basics which is what I need so I am okay with that so far. Free feature comes with the camera (+ audio), treat tossing, voice recording to play when tossing a treat, and barking alerts. Premium features more or less make the Furbo into a security camera (person alert, alarm alert, etc.) which was useful for me on the first one because I lived on my own (it would let me know when apartment management came by to do maintenance while I wasn’t home, etc.) but not so much anymore because we have a separate security camera system at my current place.The product has not changed much (the app has updated – keep reading for app review), the camera is still great, 1080p with great night vision. Functionality has not changed either, I am using Zuke’s brand training treats and it tosses out 3-5 at a time (they are 2 calories each so this is a good amount). I do not have Alexa connected to the new one so I don’t know how much improvement there has been for that. The issue I had with the app is connecting the new device. The green light indicating the device was on connection mode was on but the app would do nothing when I pressed next. I spoke to the live chat help within the app but it crashed when I attempted to upload a photo of the device serial number as they requested and couldn’t get back into the chat room again. They then contacted me by e-mail to follow up (good customer service on that end, though I fixed the issue on my own by then). The issue was that the app asks you for permission to access location when setting up first, but if you click on “only this time” instead of “all the time” the app will not respond for whatever reason. It connected properly once I gave it location access for “all the time” (I took away the permission after set up and it works fine without it). One star off for that this time because app needs some troubleshooting. I did not have many issues with the app prior to the update.Also I recorded the same thing I had on the first camera to play when tossing a treat and my dog still recognizes it (:——FIRST REVIEW AUG 2019:I bought this camera after doing a lot of research on other pet cameras. I specifically wanted one that could do wifi streaming, treat tossing, and Alexa capability. It does all those things plus night vision quality is great, but like some other reviewers mentioned Alexa does not work correctly so one star off for that (but that could also be an Alexa specific thing, as she has trouble with some of my other appliances). I mainly use it to keep an eye on my 9 month old pup who likes to eat my chairs while I’m gone to class and on my 1 month old Roomba that likes to chase her around. Works great for that purpose and night vision quality is great, much better than I originally anticipated. Treat tossing is good too, at first I used kibbles but it shoots out a lot at once so I switched to larger treats broken into pieces. My pup learned very quickly that my voice coming from it means cookies. It also doubles as a security camera with person detection.Also the daily diary videos are a hoot! I look forward to watching them every day (:

Best decision to get this!
Initially bought this as a kibble dispenser to at least slow down my puppy’s eating who doesnt know how to chew 😀 the nanny cam is amazing .my puppy barks a lot and the whistle setting distracts him. I also love that it gives me daily summaries and the cute selfie notification. I can ask Nanny if he barked or cried during the day and it would reply with videos so i dont need to go thru all the videos to find out. Super love it and highly recommended. 2 things i iwish it has is a notification that treat container is empty or running out and camera zoom.

Panning feature stopped working
Awesome little device, but I dont think they product tested with an angry, food driven calico! Don’t get me wrong she LOVES it, shes pounced on it, boxed it and ripped the feather & wire off multiple times. So after about 3.5 months shes won the battle, and it won’t turn any more lol ordering another one she likes it so much

This is an outstanding device, absolutely love the treat tosser! It launches treats high and far, which keeps my dogs entertained. The 360° camera offers excellent coverage, and the ability to talk to your dogs remotely is incredibly reassuring. One unexpected but amazing feature is the smart alerts. I had no idea it would notify me when my dog is barking, and even better, it automatically records during those moments, so I can review the footage later. It’s been a game changer for peace of mind!The only difficulty I had was setting up a UK account with the app because the default is the United States.

Furbo Dog camera is a great product. Video quality is very good. I was happily surprised with the image quality in low light situations (i.e. night vision). The quality of the audio coming through the device microphone could be improved. The audio coming from the device’s speakers is good quality.The camera was easy to setup, and the app is very intuitive, and device-phone pairing is easy.Tossing treats is fun, but the system is a little bit unreliable for tossing one treat. Thus, sometimes it toss multiple treats (60% of the time), and sometimes it does not toss any (30% of the time). I would recommed the product.

This needs to be connected to a good wifi connection to work – so either upgrade your internet or make sure your connection is good. I had a poor connection at first so I fixed that and had no issues from there! The quality is amazing! The video is so clear and I can toss treats to my cat. The only downside is the speaker will echo very loud. I may just need to turn it down to a very quiet level and I’m sure it will be fine. It stays on and alerts me when my cat is active. I wish you could remove the logo and time stamps off the screenshots and videos you can record. This kind of sucks if you want to use the content for social media websites, etc. It’s missing a laser pointer in my opinion! Would be great if they made a new model with that feature! Also it does shoot out quite a bit of treats so I’d suggest maybe mixing some regular fry cat food in with the treats so you can use it more often! 🙂 It does track people too and it updates you on your phone for any noises and such. Unfortunately it doesn’t pick up on the animals outside the window but it’s meant for a cat anyways. It’s a bonus you can use it as a security camera for people though! 🙂 I also like that they create a daily video of all the best moments of your cat that you can save. It’s fun to see what my cat gets up to! Highly suggest this product!
