Furhaven Pet Bed Cover
I purchased & received 3 of the Furhaven petbed covers & put them to use immediately for my very gentle 8 year old Female Spaniel/Pointer who lives on our cover back porch. Her preferred spot is just to the right of the back door & she needed new bedding & I searched high & low for something high quality, that was waterproof. Well, after 3 months of rough & tumble use, Iām ready to write my review & buy more bedding.1. The Furhaven bedding is waterproof.2. It has held up so far, to some intense scratching/dig, BUT is now beginning to shred in the regularly scratched areas.3. They clean-up fairly well, with some serious elbow grease (hand scrubbing). Thatās when Iāve been examining them, and see the wear & tear, is becoming significant in a short time.Machine washing is not recommended, so hand scrubbing is required, if they are very dirty, it will not just rinse off, you have to scrub it. And, they have to be hung up to dry, which can take some time.I have a back up pet bed for my fur babies to use on bed cleaning day.All in all, Iām glad I got the Furhaven pet bed covers for the Summer months. But, I wish they had held up better/longer & werenāt so difficult to clean.

Great price, I filled this with cedar chipsFor my poodle and he slept so comfortably, he is 6 so I have to provide a cushion for him- with the cedar chips he LOVES IT! The material is thick, a little noisy at first bc my boy is a scratcher lol but he hasnāt dug through this material!! Great quality for big, scratchy dogs lolNot to mention it looks like a kings bed, just for my doggo šā„ļøā„ļøā„ļø Iād say Iāll buy more, but itās built so well, I donāt know if Iāll ever need to! lol

Very waterproof!!! Keeps it shape and does not compress!
Very nice cover and highly waterproof – great for a soppy wet duck dog! Unique feature is that the zipper is so air tight that it actually does not really compress when our dog lays on it. We had just filled it with a couple old blankets and it keeps its shape and does not sink down – go figure.

Good for the summer. Easy to take off and wash and dry.
I like the idea that this is water resistant and chew resistant, at the same time detachable that you can just wash the cover. Much easier than washing a whole bed. There is a PU inner layer to make it water resistant but not the surface. The cover gets saliva stain on it all the time. Itās chew resistant but not chew proof so there already have been damages and tears to the cover. Overall the quality of meeting expectation. The fabric is kinda rough and itās not comfortable for the winter.

Iāve got to say Iām a little disappointed in this thing. I bought it because it was supposed to be durable, but it started fraying at the zipper seams, it ripped easily from the dog scratching the bed to get comfortable, and inevitably had to throw it away.Maybe if you have dogs that arenāt so .. weird? That donāt scratch and do circles for 5 minutes before getting comfortable. Maybe then you wonāt have problems with rips.Iām not sure about the washability (as Amazon says). I think washing it aided in its demise.

Amazing and so versatile
I bought two, one for each of our fur family members. What a wonderful product. Our older dog has a smell that used to permeate the house. Now this cover seems to just shed it off and washes and dries so very well. I love these fur baby covers.

Waterproof?! Not even close
I got this to go with our furhaven dog bed after one of our puppies had an accident. Urine goes straight threw the insert. So while carrying the dog bed, pee got all over the place, We didnāt realize the insert wasnāt washable when we purchased so we cleaned it as well as possible in the tub. It took FOUR days to dry and despite hand washing we ended up with foam all over the place.. While waiting for the waterproof covers he had another accident. Again a massive pain to clean up. Weāll we were so excited to get the water proof cover. I actually added a waterproof blanket for an added layer of protection. He had an accident on the blanket and thankfully I was able to just pick up the blanket and wash it. Not a single drop off ended up on the waterproof cover or mattress. While we were washing the blanket, he vomited. It soaked straight through the āwaterproofā cover and out the other end. The smallest amount of puppy vomit made such a big mess. How on earth do you return a soiled cover and mattress? So frustrated. At least I know the waterproof blanket works well. I will be be ordering a different brand for a dog bed and cover and will get more waterproof blankets. I was way easiyto ball up the blanket rather than having to unzip the cover and get pee or vomit everywhere. Absolutely waste of money. Iām sure this would be a fine option for fully potty trained dogs. But if urine goes straight though, I canāt imagine what else is being harbored in the foam. š¤¢š¤®

This is pretty sturdy for outdoor cushion. Covers my old cushion well. My advice is not to use the handle for lifting as the seams bearing the concentrated weight arenāt strong enough. For the price, worth it.

The waterproof cover fits well on the orthopedic dog bed. It is slightly noisy when my dog is moving around on it. But I am happy with the purchase and that it is waterproof.
