Great cat food, best price found so far= cat is happy and owner happy win, win
Great price for this cat food (cheaper than Wilco or Coastal Feed Store). Our 7-year-old cat loves this brand, and the salmon recipe is his favorite. Since I switched him to salmon, there’s a lot less shedding and his litter box smells less too. It arrived on time, and the cat is happy. What else is there?

Great quality food the cats both love
Great quality food – but had to stop feeding due to it still breaks out my male cat with allergies to fish or fish oil of any kind even though there is no fish or fish oil in this recipe. I think there must be some cross contamination though I’m not ruling out he could be allergic to something else. My other cat always liked it (they both did) but had to find something else he could also eat.

Kitty likes it but it didn’t cure her allergies
We bought this duck and quail cat food hoping that the limited novel protein diet would help kitty with her allergies. She seems to like the food fine, but she still vomits, sneezes, and scratches, so we didn’t seem to cure her allergies. This food does not have a bad odor. The kibble size works well in kitty’s automatic feeder.

My cat ate it
I bought this food for my senior cat. The vet recommended a duck or quail diet due to digestion issues. She hated any of the wet food brands I tried, but she did enjoy this food. I like that the pellets were very small so it was easier for her to chew. I ended up switching vets and discovered that she had kidney disease. The new vet did not recommend the dietary changes the previous vet had us do. So, I went back to her chicken wet food but I continued to give her this dry food because she was eating it and continued to do so.

Solved my kittens on going months long stomach issues!
I adopted a female domestic shorthair masked tuxedo kitten in early July. Her name is Sushi. At that time she was roughly 3 to 4 months old. She went from eating kibble, to cans, to kibble, at her own preference. We had a very hard time finding a food that would not upset her stomach and/or give her dihrarea. She had a major issue with that. She was most stable on blue wilderness but she still had those episodes. We decided to try something that was nutritious and minimal ingredients. We put down a bowl with 2 different types of food separated, not mixed up, one side was FussieCat Salmon and Chicken meal and the other was Blue Wilderness Duck. She barely touched the side that had Blue wilderness, and she’s been eating Blue Wilderness for months! I refilled the FussieCat side about 4 times before I let her finish her food to wash the bowl. I never had to refill the side with Blue Wilderness. She has been eating FussieCat for about 4 days now and her stomach ailments have been resolved and her poop is normal again. She also is behaving more with more desire to be handled which shows me she’s not having tummy aches. I will definitely buy this again in the future for Sushi. The main deciding factor of why I chose this was because I compared the ingredients and this food has a smaller ingredient list than other high protein no grain kibble. Also, it has no potatoes which I see is just carbohydrate fillers.

Causing Excessive Vomiting
I’ve been using Now brand cat food for over a decade with fantastic results for my two old meow meows. They didn’t have any stock so I tried a new dry but I’m very familiar with Fussy as their wet foods are always in rotation. This caused my cats to continually throw up after eating which is something they’ve never done before. I threw out the remaining food and went back to Now and the vomiting has stopped. It’s a shame as the ingredients were great and very palatable to the cats.

Product is great, Delivery Packaging is Horrendous!!!!
I’ll start with the product and this review form: my cat loves this food and he’s doing well with it. This review form is silly asking about the taste and smell–it’s cat food, I have no idea how it tastes and it’s dry food that has little smell.Now on to the absurd experience I’ve had with the way it’s been packaged for delivery. Come on Amazon, really??? The order I just received on September 3, 2021 had nothing more than a label on the cat food bag. What the hell is that? This was left on the ground in front of my front door. The last time I ordered, it pretty much had cardboard paper wrapped around it that had openings on both ends and it was left on the ground in front of my front door. I was so unhappy about that, I called Amazon customer support to complain because where I live, there are lizards, snakes and some very large insects (ever see those gigantic roaches in the movies?) that could easily slip into the spaces at the ends of the package the way it was configured. It was also so flimsy, if I had not been home to retrieve it and bring it in before the next morning, it would have become a nice meal for the raccoons, bobcats, foxes, or some other of the many wild animals that roam my neighborhood at night. Just because I can’t or don’t smell the food does not mean these animals can’t smell it a mile away, especially with such flimsy packaging. Looks like I’ll be going back to buying this from Chewy from now on. At least they understand how to properly package their orders.

Too bad this product is no longer distributed. My cat loved it and it was certainly a lot of work trying to find another food he would eat.
