Excellent company! Phenomenal customer care, very positive experience for us. This pen was easy to assemble and of great quality for the price. We purchased the 42”, 32 panel package for our large breed dog. The fence is holding up well so far outdoors.. The gates work great too. Double latches are necessary and secure but a bit of a pain with a wiggly impatient animal. If the second latch wasn’t there, most assuredly, the bottom would get pushed out. Due to uneven areas, be sure to use one of the 4 single panels included next to your gates. The instructions lacked this important explanation and I had to make adjustments accordingly. It included 4 gates. It looks beautiful and seems heavy duty and well made for a temporary enclosure. My large rambunctious puppy loves it! They easily get into trouble and I’ve found no safety issues or problems with its construction. One panel was dented and the shipment boxes were barely held together. Nothing too earth shaking or noticeable but there was damage nonetheless. It did not affect its function and wasn’t worth returning. Huge roomy area for exercise and room and ease of expansion. I also like that 2 extra poles were included. Rods are heavy and thick. The ball however, is not iron so use a rubber or leather mallet for driving easily into harder surfaces. Overall a very nice pen. We are very happy and our dog is too. Thank you FXW. Highly recommended seller with fast shipping and delivery.

Great mobile fence! Instant yard!
After reading tons of reviews, I decided on this brand of portable fencing to take along in our RV for our two large dogs. After our first 5-day trip, I can affirm that the fence is easy to set up and very sturdy. It can be assembled in a variety of shapes and dimensions. The gates make for easy access and no worries of my dogs escaping. Great quality item worth the investment to keep my dogs safe. This can literally be used anywhere as long as the ground is relatively level. Great item for the traveling dog owner!

Great product for a good looking, light duty pen area
We purchased a 48 panel pack of the 32″ panels. It shipped in three 16 panel boxes. The shipping company lost one and the seller promptly shipped off another (customer service also five stars).The product is great. It’s very flexible and is very easy to set up and change configurations. It’s pretty sturdy for what it is but I suppose that depends a little on how and where you set it up. It handles uneven ground a lot better than I anticipated. I thought we were going to have to do some light ground work to put it where we wanted it but, no, it works perfectly on a less than flat area. Our setup uses the house and an existing fence to make a much larger area to run and play in than the panels would alone. No issues at all with abutting either. We also use three panels and a gate indoors to cordon off the entry way.We got this to corral a large breed puppy and for that it is fantastic. The peace of mind is worth it and it doesn’t look bad either. Very happy with the product and the seller.

QUALITY. thicker stakes is easier to assemble.
LOVE THIS… stakes are BIG easier to insert and do NOT bend. I bought these because of the bigger stakes and then hinges on the panels which means they will free stand while you set up. Which makes set up faster.

Its 40-inch height and 16-panel design make it suitable for all dogs alike, providing a secure and flexible enclosure.What’s Good:Versatile Use: Effectively functions as a dog run or fence, providing a secure area for pets.Portability: Its design is convenient for outdoor adventures like day trips and camping.Areas for Improvement:Accessibility/Mobility: For users with mobility issues, particularly the elderly, the doorway threshold can be difficult to step over. Requiring two hands to operate the gate may be challenging for some but I get that it is a safety feature to prevent houdini dogs great escape. Future designs could benefit from considering better accessibility features.Stake Length: While stakes are provided for stability, longer stakes would be highly beneficial for driving deeper into the ground, offering enhanced stability and security, especially on varied terrain.Durability (Rusting): A significant concern is the product’s durability. After less than a year of use, has significant rust spots, indicating a potential issue with the material or coating’s long-term resistance to outdoor elements. Though small patches were there from the get go, a product that is intended to be outside should weather the elements better. Some rods were bent and required some straightening before was able to be assembled.Overall:While the FXW Instant Dog Playpen is a functional and generally good solution for containing pets outdoors, the issues with accessibility, stake length, and especially the premature rusting warrant attention. Addressing these points would significantly improve the product’s user-friendliness and longevity.
