Worth the price
I give this 4 stars because my cats drink water after they eat and I often see food floating in their water, which makes me think to get a water dispenser that filters the food to keep it out of the water dish. This is great other than what I stated. What I really like about this is I can place much water and food in this dispenser and it will last my 3 cats 1 weeks worth of nourishment. I can leave home a few days and not worry about anyone refilling it.

Best Thing I Bought for All The Cats
This is wonderful, way better than the clear plastic ones. It’s so convenient for me because I feed multiple cats in the neighborhood and they come different times throughout the days and nights, so they always have food and water. I put ice in the water pitcher and alittle bit of water so that the water stays nice and cold for them. I ordered one, I have outfront. But I’m going to order another one for out back. Very sturdy not junkie either.

This is a great find! We had 4 stray kittens at our house just before we left for vacation for 2 weeks. I filled up the feeder with food and water. I only had to have someone come by to check it once!

It works but it can be difficult
On the positive side, it does work. Both water and kibble are fed into the bowls, giving my cats ready access to both food and water. It is not unproblematic, however.Assembling the apparatus wasn’t particularly easy, but at the time, I assumed this would be a one-time thing. This did not prove to be true.I like that the water bowl is separated from the kibble bowl by a reasonable distance. This reduces the likelihood of water finding its way into the kibble bowl and vice versa.However, I have found that both the kibble bowl and the water bowl must be cleaned long before either the kibble or the water bowl must be refilled. For one thing, the water container holds way more water than it needs to. I recommend getting the smaller version if you are buying this for cats. It would have gone stale long before they could come even close to emptying this container, or the water bowl would require cleaning.Cats like fresh water. Although I have never had a dog, I will assume that dogs prefer fresh water, too; although dogs drink more water than cats. I only fill the water container a quarter of the way and empty it regularly.Today, I found something floating in the water bowl, which proved to be a problem. While it is very easy to remove the water reservoir to freshen the water it contains, removing the water bowl is not so easy. The bowl is too tight to remove without tilting it and dumping the water onto the floor. Even when empty, it was hard to remove the water bowl to clean it.I tried to move the entire apparatus to a table where I had more room to work. In the process, the whole thing fell apart, so there was water on the floor, and whatever food was still in the kibble reservoir was also dumped onto the floor.Since I didn’t anticipate having to put it together more than once, I misplaced the instructions and had a very difficult time figuring out how to put it back together and fit the pieces.If the water bowl were made to be as easy to remove as the kibble bowl, this would not have been a problem. However, even if it is empty, it is difficult or impossible to remove it in a closed space, and the apparatus does not fit together firmly enough to move it without everything coming apart.I strongly recommend they rework this to make the bowls easier to remove for cleaning. Waiting for everything to be empty before cleaning them would get pretty nasty. In short, it needs to be easier to clean. Meanwhile, you might be able to accomplish this by removing the water container and then using a large sponge to remove the water in the bowl; you might be able to remove it if you carefully tilt it upward and then pull it out. Alternatively, once the water is removed, you can wipe it clean with a paper towel. The whole assembly doesn’t fit together solidly, though, so there is a risk of it all falling apart.My second recommendation is for shoppers who have cats. Get the smaller version. That part was on me.

Arrived on time and well packaged! Excellent price. Smart looking but a simple design so less prone to problems, fingers crossed! Easy to assemble. 2 semi feral greedy cats eventually used it, despite being skittish. It holds a lot of food and water which is fantastic for short summer breaks. Spare parts and cleaning brush supplied too! Would definitely recommend !!
