DOES NOT COME WITH SPOUT!!!
This is a review after just getting it today.Setting up is pretty easy.The app was easy to register and connect to the fountain and works great.The fountain design itself i feel is nice but since the area is so flat and large i find the water going back down through the filter would take a long time… this to me is because it does NOT COME WITH A SPOUT! As advertised in the photo, that flower shaped spout.. yeah, doesn’t come with the water fountain, which i found pretty disappointing, i’m lucky i had a spout from my old fountain that fit, but still is not as good, for that i’m taking a star off.Another odd thing is my package came and the box was completely molded, it made me pretty worried for the inside, but the fountain itself was fine so where they had mine stored must have been in an old and wet area.I bought this for the app and because it is a small business. So far i am happy with my purchase. Cats like it they are used to fountains. Really disappointed about the spout. I also find the rubber connector a little weird but i think it can actually be better than cleaning out plastic, so we’ll see!3 filters in total to come with it which is nice.So far so good.

Useful smart features and good design.
I received this product for free, but this is something I would actually consider buying. My cat has always been picky when it comes to where she gets her water, often preferring cups to any bowl or fountain. I have tried a couple other cheaper options for filtered fountains, but I’ve already noticed how the design of this one solves issues I’ve had with the others. This drinking fountain keeps the filter in a separated compartment before flowing back into the basin; it manages to prevent the filter from sitting in stagnant water. Additionally it excels at catching debris with features that can occasionally increase water flow to clear the shallow drinking pool of hair or food crumbs.My old water fountains would often let things slip through the filter and would end up straining the pump. If by chance debris does get through the compartmented filter systems in the Geeni, the pump has a large removable/washable filter built in as well. The thoughtful design makes almost all the parts washable, coming apart into manageable pieces with no hard to reach corners. A small wire brush is included for the fountain spout making the only tricky spot to clean much easier, I’ve had to buy some previously, but I’m glad to have it come with the fountain. The power cord has a usb attachment and allows it to be pulled out of the small gap in the basin so the whole thing can just go in the dishwasher!As far as ‘quite pumps’ go, this one has actually been living up to it. The actual flow of water is the easily the loudest part and even that is adjustable in the app. I had a couple issues when syncing my app, but did get it working after no more than 5 minutes. The app had instructions to find a reset button and blinking light but I could not find either. After looking the the paper start guide included, there was not a reset button, but rather the power button on the cord needed to be pressed 6 times at a very specific interval. Perhaps this is due to an updated design of the fountain that has not been fully realized in the app. While the package includes a total of 3 filters (2 replacements), I have not been able to find the round filters used for this fountain on the Geeni store. I hope this gets updated as the fountain has been working great.Aside from a couple issues that seem easily fixed with software updates, the app has actually been pretty good too. Has 3 default modes – on, off, and smart. The ‘Smart’ setting runs 5 minutes on and 5 minutes off, not the smartest feature, but I do find it useful. It saves power and has made my cat a little more interested in fountains again. The on/off time can be adjusted for the ‘smart’ mode and there are additional scheduling options, sleep timers, cleaning reminders, water level checks and flow controls.My cat has ignored her old filtered water bowl for months now and almost exclusively drinks out of cups (thinks she’s a person 🙄). After getting this new fountain, she has actually been going to drink from it frequently. I believe she was partly interested in the fresh water from drinking cups and clearly the old filter fountain wasn’t doing the job. The way the filter sat in the collecting pool allowed debris to float back into the pool and always left one side (submerged) of the filter far dirtier, this design doesn’t have that problem and I love it.Buying a discount filtered fountain might save you $10-15, the ease of use for cleaning and additional smart features easily make this fountain worth a bit more. I do hope the store gets updated with replacement filters sooner than later though, the ones included are pretty heavy duty and will last a while, but it would be nice to know more about the cost of maintaining this fountain. The 2L version of the fountain has filters available on the store in 12 packs for a reasonable price ($24.99 currently). They however are not the same shape as the 2.6L version seen here.
