Bitter?
As others have said, at first I didn’t think these bandages were bitter. I touched my tongue to one and tasted nothing but I am beginning to think maybe it’s something that only the dogs can taste? Hear me out -My doberman has had this wound for over a year on his back ankle that I have not been able to heal and has now turned into this traveling raised continuously open scar (I don’t remember what the vet called it but it starts with a G). I have been to the vet twice for it and he has been on a bunch of medications which kind of helped but not really. My biggest issue has been stopping him from ripping the bandage off. He GETS IT OFF EVEN WITH A CONE – I have no idea how LOL. Anyway, I (thankfully) was recently fired from my crap job so I can now watch him more closely. I bought these wraps and out of all the wraps I have purchased in the past these have a 90% success rate while the others had about a 10% chance. He didn’t like the red wraps (he seems to not be a fan of red things) and ripped those off but he didn’t touch any of the other colors. Maybe because they are bitter?I recently ran out and bought a pack of wider wraps that came with more rolls for the same price (not advertised as bitter) and he has ripped them off almost every single time. The photo is from this morning and shows me using the new non-bitter wrap and a tiny piece I have left of the bitter bandage to hopefully stop him from ripping this one off until I can get a new pack of these tomorrow via Prime.I think the main thing you need to be when it comes to any wrap on any dog is to diligently WATCH THEM. It’s annoying af but I need this thing to heal. I watch him like a hawk, like he’s glued to me LOL. His wound is the most healed it has ever been right now and I refuse to let him tear it up again. So, coincidence? Or are they really bitter and only dogs can taste it? I will update this review if anything else happens that is document worthy but I am for sure using these bitter wraps.

Not BITTER FALSE ADVERTISING
These are not bitter, I have had my dog bite them off and I also took the clean side to taste myself and it is not bitter. it’s just regular wrap with pretty dog paws. Nothing bitter about it, be warned false advertisement. Not the quality one would expect when advertising it as bitter. It also doesn’t stick as well if your dog is active. Just a heads up.
