This pony is tough!
This was a present for our Chorkie (smallish Chihuahua/Yorkie mix) who is a very determined toy destroyer. First thing he did was tear out most of the hair. So I gave it a buzz cut. He has tried to chew off its feet pads and eyes a lot of times. But the pony has not gone down without a fight! He loves it and carries it around all over the house. This toy was worth it! No stuffing all over, not ripped apart! Very pleased!

Well made, cute, but not great for “shredders”
My reasons for loving this toy: first off, my purchase of the Elephant arrived a day early; secondly, the toy is adorable and very well made. There are 3 āsqueakersā in the body. One is a round ball located in the stomach, and two smaller ādiscsā in each of the feet (at least that is where I presumed them to be) which trigger āPLAY time!ā There is also ācrackleā in the ears. I felt a little remorse handing over this cutie, but that was the point of purchase; I hoped it would last a while. Our 1yr old GoldLab mix has been known to chew apart a three ring toy that was very hard rubber as well as removing the āhairā of tennis balls, popping and chewing the ball into bits. His toy ropes end up as shreds throughout the house. That said, I wasnāt sure this toy would stand up, but I had hope. Enter the elephantā¦..adorable! And doomedā¦he snatched it and happily trotted off to his bed. Within 5min, he had pulled off the tail, and within 10min he had ripped off a foot to reveal one squeaker (seams gave way). By a few hours later, āElā had been thoroughly de-feeted and unarmed, and I recovered the squeakers for my own piece of mind. Now, you might think this a sad/bad review, but it isnāt. I have learned that there is a difference in being a rugged āchewerā and being a neurotic āshredderā. I have no regrets with the purchase nor that it had no chance with our pup; without the squeakers and stuffing, our pup still carries his buddy happily around the house. He likes the crinkle in the ears and hasnāt torn those open (which surprises me). Itās his new friend. I do believe this toy to be a very good investment esp for most ānormalā pups…the fabric itself has held up well, good size, cute buddy, and happy fun for a pet. I like it tooā¦.in fact, there was a hesitation as to if I wanted to keep it myself. lol PS-I have not contacted the company as I cannot fault the product; some pups are just master shredders. ;D (Photos show Rio’s destructive prowess.)

Very durable for rowdy pups
This toy has outlasted any other dog toy I have ever bought. I have one large and one medium dog who share toys, fight over toys, chew them to death and still play with them. It might be because it isn’t one of their favorites. I don’t know. All I know is that our house is littered with dog toys in different states of destruction and this elephant toy has very little damage. It has definitely been in the dog toy rotation.I had this toy for 2 months without any major damage. The day I wrote the review the dogs tore the leg off! I still think it is a good toy. Some toys lose the stuffing or squeaker the first day.

Cute and durable
My Yoda absolutely loves his toy. Heās going through his teething phase and chews this like crazy. Itās very durable. Would highly recommend. Plus, itās really cute.

Not for Aggressive Chewers
Super cute and fun, but not for aggressive chewers. Our 5 month old puppy had it torn open in the first hour. Bummer! Of the rooster, the duck, and the pig, this is the least durable.

Chew Guard you say!
Got these 2 weeks ago. āChew guardā is what was advertised lol. As you can see my 6 lb Yorkie has loved them thatās why they get the 4 Stars. As for endurance of the toys not so much. Dinosaur is already missing a leg and is mostly destuffed, pig is about to lose an arm and the other too have lost parts too. So for the money not sure I would purchase them again

This is one of my dogs favourite toys, it’s has squeaky bits in the feet, body and wings. So if one squak gets destroyed, there are still a few to go… during that time it becomes a friendly companion that hasn’t been decimmated on day one to”kill the squeak”
