Perfect awesome amazing and safe!
First off this is awesome – we tried to use a leash and our dog was too excited and he had too much freedom on the cart. So we got this. Absolutely perfect (see pics!) DO NOT BE A JERK AND PUT THIS ON YOUR DOG’s OLLAR USE A HARNESS!!!!!!!!! People! Ok anyway this is awesome and works perfect very safe when used correctly! Where you see my dog is as far as he can go with the bungee.

Safer than a regular leash, trust me!
This item was purchased following an unfortunate incident with our terrier. From experience, a regular leash does not provide the safety that this seat belt does. It was stupid-easy to install and the size purchased is perfect to contain a 16 pound, active dog. It is adjustable and stretches just enough for comfort, but not enough to allow a launch over the side. I’d definitely say it is worth the cost.

Corroded Clip
Works great in golf cart but just past a month (so I can’t return it), the clip that you hook to the dog is completely corroded! :(Edit – added a star because the seller reached out and refunded my money

Safely harnesses pet to seat.
Our cairn terrior, Teddy, loves riding on the golf cart with me around the ranch. The leash keeps him safely in the seat, even when he thinks he should go after livestock or other critters. Easily snaps onto his harness.

You might be thinking it’s odd to attach the leash to the middle of the seat like this, but really it’s the best place in a golf cart as it prevents the dog from being able to jump off the side if you were to say attach it to one of the posts on the side. Prior to getting this, I was using my own makeshift version with an old leash but it was not adjustable and I found myself having to purposefully put knots in it to get it the right length. This is the right length, and is further adjustable. I also like how it has the little “shock” section so it has a bit of bounce to it if my dog ends up pulling on it, or losing her balance on the cart.If you have a cart with this style of seat, this is perfect and secure. Just be sure to use a harness instead of a collar for safety, in case there’s any sudden braking or other mishaps.
