Fantastic Value – My Pup Loves It!
There’s no need to spend a lot on a daily brush – this is perfect, and a great size for my maltese/poodle. He loves being brushed every day and the wire bristles are great for detagling, while the rounded tips make it gentle and relaxing – I really don’t like using slicker brushes because they’re so rough, especially when his hair is shorter. We use the soft bristle side on his face. One wire bristle popped out, but it hasn’t affected things. As long as it doesn’t keep happening, this is a 10/10 purchase

Great for picky cats
My old indoor cat has always hated to be brushed. With age her short fur has changed and brushing is mandatory. I was desperate when I ran across this brush and decided to give it a try. She actually tolerates it as it is softer which is wonderful. Even though she’s a short haired cat she sheds horribly but with using this brush things are much better.

My daughter sent me this, she uses for her cat.Well I want to like it, but it is just not functional for me to use on my pets.I have a medium hair cat & a German Shepherd.The wire bristles are too far apart, and the black bristles are to close together to use on the cat.The wire side works on my dog, bristles not, but it’s too small for a dog of his size.It is great for removing pet hair from a blanket or furniture.

I bought this Hertz 2 sided brush because I was previously using a wire brush on my cat, to get into the deeper layers of fur, and she just loved it going all the way down her back. But the untipped wire brushes are actually a little dangerous-when my cat loved it and got excited to rub her own cheeks against it-the wires are actually too sharp. Uncapped(bare wire ) brush ends could potentially hurt/scrape their eyes! After a few times of bad scratches and close calls to my cats eyes-I tossed the wire one out completely and replaced it with this. One side does have wire bristles, but they are coated with plastic tips so she still gets a deep brushing but no more fear of scraping or injury. The other side is a soft bristle-this is much more gentle for her face area, whiskers, around her ears. The only negative is when hairs do get caught in the bristles, the plastic tipped side is easy to clean, but the soft bristle side is a bit harder to slide the hairs out. I find I have to hold it under some running water to loosen/get them out on that side. But it is great to have the two sides-one deeper for down the back/one softer for the head. I am happy with the product and the cat is happy too.
