My super picky girl likes it!
My super picky girl likes to crawl underneath the blanket when I’m trying to sleep, but she wants me to hold it up, so I thought that there was a possible chance she might like this little kitty cave, and to my surprise she loved it! The bed is big enough for your average to large cat and the pad makes it nice and soft inside. The heat pad is round, and it fits into the little pillow that goes inside, and it is also removable if you don’t want heat, or you can just turn it upside down and just have the nice cushy pad without the heat pad insert. The one thing I did notice is that the heat pad doesn’t get very warm, but it’s cozy, especially if you put a piece of cloth over it to make it like a little hidden cave, which is how my cat likes it. The structure is good, it holds its form and doesn’t sag or cave in, and it’s really cute too. It has a little fuzzy ball that hangs on a piece of elastic, but you can just wrap it around the ear above if you don’t want it to dangle and get in the way. I’m happy with it, though I have to say the price was very (too) high when I got it, around 80.

This heated cat bed is so cute.It comes with a small, round heated pad that plugs in via usb. I really wish it had a regular plug end so I can plug into an outlet instead of having to get a usb/wall plug adapter. Once plugged in the controller can turn the heater on two temps, both fairly low- 90ish degrees and 100ish degrees. These are smart options as a cat can get sneaky slow burns from laying on a slightly too hot pad for hours at a time. What I don’t like is that the only timing options are 3 hours and 6 hours. My elderly cat needs a warm pad 24 hours a day, so this one isn’t much use to her.But the heating pad can be removed and it leaves a round base with a large round pillowed edge and a mesh bottom. The pillow is covered with soft, gray plush material. Then the top/hood of the bed attaches to the base with a zipper, which is well made and works smoothly. It has floppy ears on top, and for some reason a big cat toy attached.Overall, without the heating pad the bed itself is well made and sturdy and seems to be durable, but with or without the heating pad it’s not worth the current price of $60. The heating pad element is not designed well and may not be useful for many cats.

Jumped Right In! My Elder Picky Kitty Loves It
Unbelievable! Usually when I get a new bed for my older tabby cat, he circles around smelling it for weeks and won’t get in on his own, jumping out when I place him there for several months until finally deciding it’s ok to sleep on it. With this uniquely whimsical cat bed, as you can see from pictures, on day one he got in right away and curled up to sleep before I even turned on the awesome removable USB plug-in heater. On the 1st cold night after we got it, simply switched on the low voltage heater with timer and a gentle warmth started radiating through the ultra soft cushion – that time he got comfortable and stayed all night. Love that it has 2 levels of warmth you can click on and off depending on the ambient temperature. Also really like the convertable design allowing removal of the cute ear-topped hood, just zip it right off the furry velvet type donut base and the thick velvety cushion can also be removed for easy cleaning in the washing machine. An additional unexpected bonus is it has really seemed to help his rest. He has more energy, flexibility, and spunk during the day after sleeping in it. This is a quality pet bed that is comfort made, flexible and built to last. Love it!

Waste of money
Neither me or my pets are impressed by this product. First, the bed itself is bulky and wide, even though the area for you pets to actually sit is pretty small. Then, even more comically, the actual heating plate that is in the bed is only a square of 7 x 8 inches! That’s about the space a 4or 5 lb animal takes up in an erect sitting position. If your pet lays down, most of their body will not be on the warming plate. If you have an average sized 10lb cat, about 65% of you can won’t fit on theis mat while laying down and it will be a tight fit in the bed as it seems like the bed border are lager than the actual area for pets to lay. But the biggest issue is once u put the heating pad in the pillow pouch and put the cover on it, you cant feel the heat….even on high! Touching right on top of the heating element on high it barely registered as warm. That spot felt warmer from body heat with the plate off and my pet just curled there.I dont understand the design of the top that you can zip on. There’s a ridiculously oversized ball that hangs in the middle of the top that just walks ur pet in the head, and the “bunny ears” on the outside just flop over and look kinda silly. I will say that the quality of the bed covers are very nice.Unfortunately with this heated bed it’s not worth the money. They’re charging $80 for this and most heated cat beds I see have larger heating plates and way more controller functions and they’re all around $30. Skip this and go for one of those.

Cozy and Cute
It doesn’t get much cuter than this cozy rabbit-eared cat cave, and the heating element is a bonus! I recently acquired a lap-sized heating pad that I use under a blanket while watching TV when it’s so cold outside. Every day at least one cat crawls on my lap and sits for hours enjoying my heated lap. When I saw this heated bed, I knew it would be the solution for the other two cats who don’t get enough lap time because they weren’t quick enough to get there first! The materials are very soft and squishy, and the heating element can be adjusted to shut off after a certain time. All three of them have had a turn and there’s hardly an hour in the day a cat isn’t in there!
