Obvious benefits to both a pet and a stray.
We started feeding a stray cat during a severe winter storm, and after checking with experts in organizations dedicated to animal care, we committed to feeding it on an ongoing basis. Wow, the improvement in this cat’s skin and fur and eyes and energy is something to behold! Within a month, his skin problems were well on the way to healing, and his coat began thickening up. His eyes looked brighter and more alert, and he walked with more energy. A few months in, he is unrecognizable as the mangy, sickly stray who first arrived! The cat was an excellent hunter, and was not going hungry before we started feeding him, but the nutritional mix he gets from Science Diet 7+ has worked wonders — better than what nature provided.Our neighbors’ cat started spending her days on our deck while our neighbors were out of town — (reclaiming “her” territory from the stray, perhaps?) — and, with her humans’ permission, we started feeding our neighbor cat small treats of Science Diet, as well. This cat is well loved and cared for by her humans, but even her fur showed a noticeable improvement within a few weeks, becoming softer and thicker. I noticed a change, but didn’t comment aloud about it. Apparently, my son noticed the difference as well, and said so, and I had to concur. Her coat now is so thick and luxuriant — greatly improved since the change from better brands found in the grocery store — and she obviously LOVES the flavor of the Science Diet.Cat food is cat food is cat food, right? NO!

I recently transitioned my senior cat to Hill’s Science Diet Adult Cat 7+, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Cat on this food 4 years. Dr recommended. Cat has no allergies and devours it. Chicken flavor. Expensive. 48 dollars a 16 lb bag. Worth every cent for my cats health. Would recommend.

Bad batch?
We’ve been buying this food for a while and our cats loves it but last two bags I ordered are low quality. What’s up with these teeny-tiny pieces? (We also buying 11+ and mix them together)

What is it about kibble that seems so tasty to cats? Science diet shows great quality and is perfect for our cats. One of our younger kitties has been raised on this product- she went for it just like a bee to,honey.

We LOVE Science Diet cat foods and we’re about to return to buy out standby flavor when we say this and read a bunch of reviews. It’s a good idea to gradually switch over foods if you make a change, to ensure your Feline Overlords have a smooth transition.. but our High and Mighty One let us know immediately that they WANT MORE OF THIS FOOD. sometimes vocal, once the transition began, the protestations and opinions became very apparent if they were instead served the Original Recipe. WHATS in THIS STUFF? Youd think we were serving Temptations ( sorry SD, yes that’s off topic.)Well, now that we know it’s appreciated, we can get back to our intended experiment of observing whether this lessens the recent scratching and licking that’s cropped up out of nowhere.. We will advise as this happens and let others know. We would love it if SD formulated some medium soft kibble to make more experienced Felines, longer in the tooth, experience a softer chewing experience.As alwaysLovers of the Diet of Science ( and their loyal servants )
