Our 14 year old cat loves it
Our indoor 14 year old cat ate Science Diet Hairball control for years. About six months ago he started eating a lot less of it, but did not seem sick so we tried the regular 11+ before taking him to the vet. He liked it and was back to eating again. About a month ago he did get sick and stopped eating. The vet gave us the advise to feed him anything including baby food, treats etc, to get him eating to keep something in his stomach until he recovers.I was then watching closely what he ate and how much. As he recovered and started eating 11+ again I saw how hard it was to eat those very small pellets in any quantity. He picked one up with his tongue, then had to work it back in his mouth to swallow it. Looked like a lot of work expanded to swallow a small piece of food. Then I noticed the pellet size of the 11+ Indoor cat on a bag. They looked similar in size and shape to the Hairball control he used to eat that were a good bit larger than the regular 11+. I ordered a bag of Indoor 11+ and he still loves that size pellet. I started by mixing regular 11+ and Indoor 11+ and soon found he was much preferred the larger Indoor size.Per a couple reviews, perhaps they are too much for cats with bad teeth, but if your cats teeth are cared for and kept in good shape this is a great option. I think our cat likes the crunch and has zero problems biting into them.

Senior-cat approved: less barf, bright eyes, steady weight
I feed this to three senior cats (all 15+) and the difference has been obvious. Their eyes stay bright, their steps are lighter, and, big win, there’s far less kitty barf since the switch.They actually wait at the bowls for refills, and cuddle time is better because this chicken formula doesn’t leave that fishy breath. My cat loves this food
My cat is a very picky eater. A year ago he became very ill which resulted in a diagnosis of Kidney disease and a recommendation to change his diet to help slow down the progression of the disease. Unfortunately, my cat had poor acceptance to the new cat food. He refused to eat it which resulted in a decline in his nutritional status, having weight loss, muscle loss and a very dull looking fur coat. I tried several other brands of the special diet both soft and hard but he refused to eat them. It was heart breaking to see my cat deteriorating and force feeding him was not an option. So I got desperate and decided switch back to his favorite food which is this product. He devoured it and over time regained his strength, weight and shiny fur coat. I understood that the switch back to his food may not be the best one for the diagnosis at that time but I realized that starvation would have killed him faster than the disease itself. So I gave him back his favorite food.He just had his annual check up and the good new is that the diagnosis of kidney disease dropped. Apparently the episode last year was an acute kidney failure which over time had resolved. I believe that my cat would not be here today if it was not for this product. What I do like about it is that it is designed for older cats and their aging kidneys!. He loves it. It is a great product.Also, I have to mention that he does not like this food if it is crushed. Very picky cat. The first bag I ordered arrived in perfect condition. Thank you.

Happy cat, happy life!
Love this food, hasn’t caused my cat any issues. I’ve gone through many different cat foods with little success. My cat is 12 to 13 years respectfully, her stomach is sensitive to most food now a days. She really like eating it, I do wish the pellets were smaller.
