As with any dry cat food you just never know if your cat will like it. My cat loves this dry food and it has helped with her digestion issues. Good quality & value of money, good size, the smell is good, has helped with my cat’s health, & overall is a high quality dry cat food.

No more diarrhea
Very pricey food, but it’s the only brand I’ve found that doesn’t give my Scottish Fold diarrhea. I tried so many other types of food, and he always had very soft stools. I took him to the vet, and ruled out any medical issues, but he may have had certain food sensitivities. After 7 years of diarrhea, I assumed there was no solution, but then I tried Hills Science diet, perfect digestion, and miraculously he now has normal formed stools! I know this reads like a paid promotion, but this is my actual experience. I hate the fact this is the only brand that works because it’s so pricey, but it’s worth it to not have to scoop runny cow pies out of his litter box. Just wish it was a little more affordable, but he’s small, so the 13lb bag lasts about 5 months.

Worth every penny, especially if your cat has stomach problems
My little girl had emergency surgery performed as a kitten and needed 6 inches of her intestines removed. As a result, she has a sensitive tummy and lots of food will upset her stomach.She enjoys this food and it does not cause stomach upset for her. I’ve tried so many other brands that advertised as for sensitive stomachs, but this is the only one that has worked for us!A bag lasts us a month – I have this on Subscribe and Save and get 1 bag delivered each month. This is supposed to only be for 1 cat, but I have a suspicion that her sister sneaks some of the food too.While it is “expensive” compared to other brands in the market, it has been a godsend and is absolutely worth every penny. I would buy it no matter what as it is good for my cat, both in terms of her sensitive stomach and the nutritional value this food provides.

Just not for my Joie…
This was the first food I found from which I actually noticed a difference in the issues my cat was having (Soft, very stinky stool; full/ mildly bloated after eating). I noticed improvement but he didn’t like the food. I had to mix it with the old food to get through the whole bag. (However, next we tried the sensitive skin and stomach one from the same brand, Hills, and he loved it!)

The Science Diet Perfect Digestion is a great product for my cats, esp the one who used to throw up other brands. The salmon is a good choice for her. However……..I always have to wait all day long for it to arrive. Then it was thrown in right by the door opening. I don’t think the delivery person was happy. Funny, very soon after I contacted Customer service, my order came!?!

My dad has been a veterinarian for 25+ years and this is the brand he swears by. He weaned his cats off of this dry food and transitioned then to wet food, so he no longer uses this, but if you don’t have enough time to put your cats on a wet food diet and are looking for a healthy hard food this one is great.

This is the only kibble my cat seems to digest! It has saved me so much cleaning. My cat used to barf multiple times a day. He does better with the Chicken formula than Salmon version of this food. I highly recommend this food. I tried local limited ingredient foods with a better ingredient reputation but he would have so much gastro upset. He is a senior cat now and we’ll be doing science diet the rest of his life!
