I switched to Hill’s Science Diet Adult 1-6 Urinary Hairball control cat foot from a more pricey Hill’s Science Diet prescribed from my vet, unfortunately with prices these days I couldn’t fit the one from my vet in the budget. But I researched online and this was a decent replacement. My cat loved in right away and she is picky with all food, even wet cat food. She is 12 years old and will eat this. I have noticed less hairballs. But as far as the Urinary control and kidney health, she is healthy according to the vet and I think she’s doing just fine when compared to the prescription version.

Save money on veterinary bills and feed this to your cats! This food prevents cats from getting urinary blockages and it works very well. I have learned this lesson after a very expensive surgery on my cat. It is common for male cats to get urinary blockages. This urinary care food from Science Diet prevents it. I wish I knew about this common problem and this amazing food before my cat endured this medical emergency. I have never had another cat suffer this problem since starting this food. I hope my review helps educate and prevent this from happening to your cat!

Less hairballs!
My cats LOVE this food. There has been a noticable decline in hairballs and I overall think it is worth the price. Since switching to Hill’s my cats have just seemed more alive and energetic overall.

EXCELLENT Cat Food
This is WONDERFUL, NUTRITIONAL cat food. A Specialist Vet recommended this food because my cat’s teeth continued to have so much tartar. It’s crunchy and apparently is doing it’s job because our regular Vet says her teeth are always clean. She can’t wait for me to put in in her bowl. I have been using it for years through the life of 3 cats and each loved it. Bree loves it now!!

Great food, it works by needs to be smaller pieces
My 11 yr old male kitty had urine crystals. The vet wanted him On prescription food. Couldn’t afford that with 2 other cats and a dog. After reading th reviews tried this. It’s amazing. Don’t know what the difference in between this and prescription but it works for a lot less. The change was amazing. There were no side effects I mix some of the canned with the dry am and on he loved it from day 1 . My only complaint is I have to cut the pieces for him to eat it they’re way too large. This company should know that all male elderly cats need this food. Purina can make small pieces, why can’t Hills? Some cats don’t have teeth! They’d choke on this stuff!

Multifaceted food and picky eaters accept
Seems decent enough they all like it. I have incorporated multiple items more wet food in their diet and calming care powder too so can’t tell a direct response of no urinary issues for example but so fair no issues. But this helps with urinary for one cat hairballs for the others and kcals aren’t ridiculous for my choonky one.

Dont believe the negative reviews saying it is not suitable for Indian cats. All my 11 Indian cats and the cats who come to my house are eating this and they absolutely love this as well. Some cats may hesitate at first but you gotta go slow with them by mixing it with their old food, bu they will surely love it once they get used to it. My cats have gained healthy weight and better coat and less fur fall after they start eating this. Definitely go for it.

Me gusta que en un mismo alimento puedo tratar los dos problemas que tienen mis gatitas, note inmediatamente la diferencia en cuanto a las bolas de pelo ya que mis gatitas dejaron de vomitarlas. cada que les doy un alimento con nuevo sabor toma un par de dias a que se acostumbren a el pero con este fue inmediato que les gusto. El unico pero es que lo ordene una vez y para la segunda el precio se incremento mucho.
