I THINK IT’S A KEEPER!!!
Okay…..so I have been really “intrigued” by the whole idea of Tofu cat litter; it’s a bit “interesting.” I did try another brand once before, after my female baby got spayed, and unfortunately she “hated that one.” So, I went back to plain old clumping store brand that was more like sand. They both really liked that kind because I think the sand like quality is soft on their paws. I can appreciate that. However, I HATED that because the litter went EVERYWHERE……all throughout my home, and whatever counters they jumped on; it just was so unsanitary to me. Then I tried OkoCat, which is a wood blend. That was a nice idea, and was less “dusty,” but still tracked “everywhere.” And, the worst part of it for me was “the smell.” Gosh, it didn’t smell like their “business,” it was the wood shavings themselves that used to make me “gag.” So, it’s been only 3 days since I tried this, and I REALLY LIKE IT!!! I think this brand has been more appealing to them because they have added “bentonite clay” which is “sand like.” And, the tofu does gets kicked out of the box still, but because it is heavier, its doesn’t go all throughout my home. It is staying right outside the box, and is easy to pick up with dustpan and broom. Now, my Ragdoll won’t cover up his #2 with this brand, which I hear is not uncommon for Ragdolls to do anyway. My other cat came and showed me that it was left uncovered the second day, and I had better clean it up quick….LOL. Okay, so the only downside for me is I have to scoop more often, but it’s really easy now, and I don’t dread doing it. The smell is fine, easy to clean, great clumping action, dust free, and LOW TRACKING!!! What’s there not to like??? And, even they are “cooperating.” I know they say it’s safe for even septics, but I am not putting down the drain as I don’t want to risk my plumbing, so still putting in the trash, but I just wanted to let ya’ll know, this is a “great product,” and I have used many different cat litters over the years. I really LIKE THIS STUFF!!! A tad more expensive, but I foresee it lasting long enough to make it “cost effective,” too.

Really good mixed tofu litter for the price
This is currently my go-to litter because the price is on point. I love tofu litter because it clumps very well, it’s flushable, and it doesn’t stink.The bentonite clay gives them more clump, but the downside is that sometimes it can get dusty on the bottom of the litter pan. Which is not a problem if you let your letter run slightly on the lower end.There’s not too much tracking and definitely not a lot of dust tracking, but if there is tracking the tofu sticks and little bentonite balls are really easy to clean.And as for the smell, I recently have to deal with traditional litter, and the fake smell is so overwhelming. And cleaning the litter is very dusty. I’m so glad I switched to tofu litter, even this mixed version.

Pretty amazing
The tofu pellets are very long but other than that, it’s a really amazing stuff. It’s like the only stuff that I use now honestly it’s flushes really easy. It doesn’t hold the smell like literally I never smell them unless when they go and then I cleaned it up right away it never sits or anything, but it literally clumps together amazingly, and it keeps all the other litter clean like other litter. You will leave pneumonia and pee residue behind each time they go to the bathroom this does not do that

Won’t Change Litters Until There’s a Better One Out!
I have five cats and have bred sphynx kittens in the past. We’ve gone through and liked using wood pellets, grass seed, World’s Best, Sustainably Yours and tofu litter, but this is by far my favorite to date. I liked using the tofu litter, it looks clean and even matches my bathroom tiles, but one of my cats would eat it and when I bought the lavender or matcha scents his poop would turn purple or green!! The same thing happened with the grass seed litter, unfortunately, as I found it worked really well with the automatic litter box. World’s Best is great because it flushes, so if you have your cats in a hotel room, for example, but the clumps aren’t tight and eventually you need to replace the whole litter box as it starts smelling like urine. I liked Sutainably Yours as it clumps so hard, but it is expensive. Only thing is that I’d find tiny white balls in my bed, and everywhere really, and I got sick of it!! Thank God this tofu x bentonite clay litter popped up as it’s clean like the tofu (even had a friend visit and mention that) but it can’t taste great as my cat tried it and decided it’s inedible. It does flick around the litter box but I only find the litter tracks as far as the hallway outside the bathroom, unless I don’t sweep or vacuum for a while! It really is the best I’ve found, and I won’t change unless there’s a new litter out that doesn’t miraculously track outside the box!! I go through four of these bags every 2-3 weeks with my cats – no need to change it out, as long as you get the clumps out cleanly it WON’T smell. I clean it out regularly throughout the day as it’s mildy satisfying with this litter!

Not enough clump for the dump!
I like that the litter is clean and seems to control odor. There are some tracking issues. It is lightweight. But it does not clump up in large enough to exit the door into bag, there are still waste materials left in box that aren’t big enough they sift back to box. I mixed in my regular clumping litter to add more clumping effects.👍

Granuals were too large to sift through scooper. The depth went from approximately 3 inches down to an inch in a few days. The cats wouldn’t even use it. I threw it all out on the third day.

No smell and low dust which is good but HORRIBLE clumping and tracking, combine those two and you get pee crumbs everywhere in your place and the litter box becomes hectic to clean every time.Definitely do not recommend.

I love this litter, have ordered it several times now. I love that there’s almost no dust. It hides any odors really well, clumps really well, it’s flushable, and it doesn’t track onto the floor very much. Unfortunately, in the space of a week since I last ordered it, they’ve increased the price by $14, so now I think I’ll be looking for a more affordable option.
