Excellent odor control, and flushable convenience
Okay, so Iāve been using this tofu-cassava litter primarily to toilet train my cats, and Iāve been very impressed with it so far. The texture is smooth and consistent, with a mix of mostly neutral-colored pellets and some noticeable blue pellets mixed in. Visually, it looks clean and well-processed, not too dusty or gritty in the box.The scent smells genuinely good, almost too good. Thereās a clear coconut-and-vanilla note to it that makes the litter box smell fresh instead of āmasked.āI suspect this is in part why the odor control works so well, because even after use, smells are minimal. That said, Iāll admit I had a brief concern, my cats are perpetually hungry beasts, and the litter smells so nice that I worried it might tempt them. Thankfully, none of my cats have tried to eat it, and so far it hasnāt caused any issues.Clumping has been good, and cleanup is super easy. One downside is that I did pick up a fair amount of dust during handling and pouring, which is something to be aware of if youāre sensitive to dust or have respiratory concerns. Once settled in the box, though, it hasnāt been nearly as noticeable. The biggest reason I chose, and continue to use this litter is that itās flushable. That makes it ideal for human-toilet cat training, which is what Iām currently working on. Being able to safely dispose of waste via the toilet is a huge convenience and a major selling point for this product.Iām really hoping my cats stick with it long-term, because from a training and maintenance perspective, it checks nearly every box. This review reflects my own personal experience using this litter with my own cats. Results may vary depending on your catsā habits, sensitivities, and training needs. Always monitor your pets when introducing a new litter, especially one with an added scent because of allergies.Disclosure: This review is part of Amazonās Vine Program, which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for honest reviews (taxed as income). Controls odor pretty good
Havent been using this long. My kitty just decided to use it after sniffing and being cautious of it for a whole day. I think the only reason she went to it is because I took away her other litter so she has no choice to use it. lolSo far so good. I feel like there’s less nasty smell in my bathroom now. This does a good job at controlling the odor. It clumps up pretty well so Im able to scoop up even little drops of urine and of course poop. I love that Im able to dump the mess into the toilet without clogging it. Makes it so much easier to clean the litter. The bag is pretty small. It’s just enough to cover the bottom of our medium-size litter. I knew the bag would be small and when dealing with picky kitties, I tend to just buy a test size first just in case they hate it, I wont be waste too much. So, this is the perfect amount to test it with. So, the main thing that makes this different from their other litter is that it’s flushable and controls smell…THAT’S AN AWESOME DIFFERENCE. Everything else seems the same as the other litter. There’s still tracking …maybe not as much but not a huge difference. Oh and it’s plant based- so that makes me feel better. The price is fair…I’ve seen worse. But considering that it takes less time to clean their litter, I think it’s worth the money.

Excellent clumping and odor controlāworth every penny!
I bought this back in December and have been really impressed. In terms of litter quality, the cassava and tofu mix is a game-changerāit feels much cleaner than traditional clay. It works well across the board, but the clumping is the standout feature; it forms solid clumps instantly that don’t break apart when you scoop. The dust level is virtually non-existent, which is great for keeping the area tidy. As for the smell, it has a mild, natural scent that neutralizes odors effectively without being perfumey. While the bag is on the smaller side (6 lbs), the efficiency and lack of waste make it great value for money. Highly recommended if you want a cleaner, high-performing litter!

Clumps Well and Keeps Odor Low
This cassava tofu cat litter works well in a multi-cat household. Clumping is fast and solid, which makes daily scooping easier and keeps the litter box cleaner. Odor control is good, even after a full day of use. Dust level stays low during pouring and scooping, which helps keep the area tidy. The pellets are a bit larger, so they feel different from clay litter, but overall performance is reliable.

Not All Cats Like It
I acquired this litter for a two cat household. My boy is older and has always been picky about food and litter and will not use the litter if it contains this litter. The litter itself does a great job with clumping and scooping. It also doesn’t have a strong scent. I’m not sure if I would buy this again because there’s something about this litter my boy doesn’t like and I would have to use boxes with different types of litter.

3.5ā ā HoneyCare Cassava Tofu Mixed Cat Litter, 6 lbs ($11.99)
This litter is an interesting alternative to traditional clay clumping litter. I like that it is plant-based and natural, without added fragrance or harsh chemicals. I’ve tried various natural litters and was especially drawn to this one because it is supposedly flushable!Although I’m a little too anxious of plumbing issues in my almost-90-year-old home to test that out, when I got some (clean) litter wet in my hand, it did first clump, then eventually dissolve. The good side to this is it indicates it should actually flush. However, it also means that this will break down faster with liquid, so it might need to be replaced more often, especially with multiple cats.Other positives to this product are that it’s lightweight (making it easy to carry/pour), smells nice, and the ingredients look like they should be relatively safe if you have a weirdo pet who decides to snack on this. It is a bit more expensive than other natural litters I’ve tried, but has better clumping power, so it may be worth it to you.
