Pawsitively Well-Built Crate
Some of the negative reviews don’t reflect the actual build quality or assembly process. Assembly was straightforward with standard non-verbal instructions. It took about an hour the first time, but now that I’ve done it once, I could reassemble it in 5–10 minutes.The base and top are thick, solid wood pieces, the metal grates feel durable, and while the back panel is thinner, it’s properly reinforced and doesn’t bear any load. All parts aligned perfectly during assembly.The sliding door can be fine-tuned by slightly adjusting the wood panel that holds the rail, which significantly improves how smoothly the door slides. The locks did have a few paint chips and don’t appear to be powder-coated, but this was minor and didn’t detract from the overall quality.The wood finish looks great and does not feel cheap. Honestly, the price could be significantly higher and still feel justified for the quality you’re getting.

Awesome and great looking animal crate
Sturdy, very good looking and love the sliding barn door for entry. My husband had no issues putting this together and even he was impressed with it. If you’re looking for something sturdy yet good looking , as an end table or piece of furniture, this crate is for you.

Beautiful crate with a couple design flaws
The crate is beautiful and mostly well-crafted. I am confused by the design elements of having the bolt at the top of the door, since it doesn’t function.The crate itself is sturdy, doesn’t shift or bump around easily, and was simple to put together.Star removed because one of the bottom bolt assemblies was mangled and unusable, and the remaining bolt assembly pin assembly broke after a few days of use. I am going to fix that with some red threadlock…

Useless top latch, overall easy to assemble by myself.
Lots of people thought this was difficult to put together but I found it rather simple. The step that requires putting the top part in place would’ve been easier with two people but I ended up putting a portable tv dinner shelf in the middle to hold the top in place as I put the bolts in. The back boards are very thin so if your dog doesn’t like their crate they’re probably going to be able to break those out very easily if the crate isn’t against a wall. The main reason I gave 3 stars is because the top latch appears to be completely useless as it doesn’t latch to anything. I’ve sat here scratching my head wondering if I assembled something wrong but I don’t know how I would’ve when the holes all match up. So you have to use the bottom latches to secure it which is a minor inconvenience. I don’t get my puppy till this weekend so I can’t comment on performance.

Fantastic crate and looks stunning in the living room! Was a little tricky to assemble as the pictures had no explanations with them, but the dogs and I all love it!

Beautiful piece, poor workmanship
Holes don’t align on the back panels to add all screws. Additionally, door #8 cannot be installed as top holes are misaligned and bottom holes are under the rail, instead of on top to allow fastening to the wooden piece they are supposed to be screwd into. Total loss pf over an hour of my time and waiting an extra day for late delivery.

Difficult instructions & poor lock
If you’re using for a docile dog then it’s good but if your dog isn’t the locking mechanism is not “fast enough “ and is very difficult to use. I put together a lot of stuff – If your not “IKEA savvy” it’s not an easy put-together the actual quality and hardware were nice and sturdy but don’t use an electric drill heads strip easily enough even though they look sturdy and black power coated

Love it!
Works very well for our big 60 pound bully!!!! Not to big but not small either! Perfect height! Love that I can put stuff on top and nothing falls off!!! Pretty easy to follow the directions and put together. It does have a lot of pieces but so worth the money!
