Smells Great and Works in More Than One Machine
This solution has a nice tropical scent and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It works very well in the carpet shampooer, leaving the carpets fresh and clean, and it also works surprisingly well in the Bissell brush mop for hard floors.I even used it on a workout floor mat that had some older stains, and it did a great job of lifting them out. For the size, performance, and scent, this is a great all-around cleaner.

This solution came included with the carpet cleaner. It did a great job of removing dirt and build-up on my white carpet. I ordered more of it to do my other rooms with. Company coming in said “It smells good in here. Soapy, fresh clean scent.” I may order more as it does the job. No product is perfect like a brand-new carpet, but this product came pretty close. The water that came up was like chocolate milk (I clean my rugs often, but they needed a deep clean) so I know that this accomplished my cleaning goals. This product (along with my Hoover steam cleaner) did not leave my carpet soaked or sticky/crunchy.

I use it in my Hoover carpet cleaner, and it lifts stains and eliminates urine odors far better than other brands I’ve tried.The Tropical Breeze scent is light and fresh, not overpowering, and it leaves the whole room smelling clean. Even old stains from previous accidents came out looking noticeably better after one cleaning.If you have pets and want a solution that works hard without leaving a heavy chemical smell, this is it. orks Well on Fresh Stains — Not as Powerful on Set-In Odors
I’ve been using the Hoover Pet Spot and Stain Remover on both fresh pet accidents and some older mystery spots on my carpet. For fresh stains, this works great — spray it, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and blot. Most of the time, the stain comes right up and the smell is noticeably reduced.It does okay with set-in stains, but I had to reapply a couple of times and follow up with a steam cleaner to get rid of lingering odors. The scent is mild and clean, which I appreciated since some cleaners can be overwhelming.Overall, I recommend this for quick cleanups and routine maintenance, especially if you have pets that occasionally make messes. Just keep in mind it’s not a miracle product for older or very strong pet odors — but for day-to-day messes, it’s a solid choice.Pros:✔ Effectively lifts fresh pet stains from carpet and upholstery✔ Light, pleasant scent that doesn’t overpower✔ Safe to use around pets once dried✔ Easy-to-use spray bottle with good coverage✔ Doesn’t leave behind a sticky residueCons:✘ Not strong enough to fully remove older or deeply embedded odors✘ Slightly pricey for a 22 oz bottle if you have a lot of messes to treat

Good for Hoover Smart Wash Pet Vacuum

We purchased this with the Hoover PowerDash Pet Compact Carpet Cleaner Machine. They are both great buys. I’ve used many carpet shampoos and shampooers over the years and this is the best in my 62 years. Even the Rug Doctor shampoo didn’t hold a candle to this cleaner.
