Works great and super adorable.
Excellent cones for our kittens. We had our three kittens fixed at the same time. They are 16 weeks (one is almost 5 lbs and the other two are 6lhs) and we ordered a size small. Fits well. Easy to put over their heads, with the adjustable strap they stay in well. After a few hours they adapted well and don’t seem to even notice them anymore. It’s been several days now and they are doing well wearing the cones. We have a power water fountain that keeps the water moving like a faucet. They sometimes get the cones wet from drinking the water but it dries. I would definitely recommend. The quality is super nice and appears comfortable. They use the cone as a headrest to nap.

An absolute must have, protects surgery wounds & keeps cats comfortable!
This cone is a lifesaver! One cat returned from a spay w/the plastic cone and hated it so badly she was hurting herself to get it off. Never again will I use a plastic cone after seeing the difference these soft collars make.Most importantly none of the cats could access their surgical areas. They absolutely tried but couldn’t reach and the areas stayed protected.These were all spays & neuters but I can see it working for most injuries.All the cats got used to it very quickly and eventually used it like a pillow- adorable. I actually think it helps them sleep better that first night after surgery. The donut did get dirty but easily wiped off with a cloth. The fabric it’s made of seems durable. Cats can eat and drink wearing the donut but they may get it dirty/wet.This donut collar was worn by 5-10lb. cats without an issue and is a good size w/o being heavy. The drawstring is easy to use, it slips up & down easily and you can loosen it one handed.The price is fantastic. Honestly the peace of mind you get knowing your cat is comfortable is priceless. I will always have a recovery collar like this after seeing the difference. You won’t regret getting one. Plus it’s so funny seeing your kitty run towards you with a donut on!Here are pink donut measurements: 9.5”-10.5” across (it’s not a perfect circle, lol), the diameter (across the inside hole) is 4.25”, the circumference (around the inside hole) is *roughly* 12”-12.5”. If your cats neck is more than 11” around this may get a little tight or harder to slip on.

Cute and Comfortable!
We love this!! Our cat had a scratched cornea and needed to wear a cone for a week. After 2 days with the generic plastic vet cone, we ordered this, and our cat is SO much happier in it! He can eat, drink, and lay down comfortably, but he’s not able to scratch or paw at his eye. (Plus, it’s donut-patterned and super cute, which is a huge plus, haha!)

Makes litter box use difficult, but diy can improve donut
Updated from 2 to 4 stars.I used a needle and thread to gather the outer edge inward, toward the inner seam. This made the outer dimension smaller, so kitty no longer got her claws stuck in the fabric while using the litter box. And, it still kept her from chewing her belly stitches.Overall, this donut was much better than an E collar and worked well after a little sewing edit.Previous review:I got her a size medium, because size small is for cats under 5lbs. There are pros and cons.Pros: This collar being a donut is adorable. It being soft and ring shaped rather than a cone makes it more comfortable to lay down in and allows her to see and hear normally.Cons: Her claws get stuck in the fabric when she’s in the litter box, and then she needs help. This is a serious design flaw of the donut. Imagine this happening to your cat while you’re away at work. She’s dealing with enough already after spay surgery. I think this wouldn’t happen if the donut were of smaller outer diameter. I’m going to try to edit the donut. Will update with details if that might help anyone.

Very necessary and comfortable
This product helped my cat so much for more comfort after his very serious surgery. He had to wear a surgery collar for more than one week.He was miserable. You can tighten the neck opening to make sure your pet cant slide it off. He never did get this one off, but did get out of the big, heavy one the Dr put on him. He felt better because he could see while wearing this one, not running into things and could eat and drink without contorting himself! What a great product and a cute necessity if you cat has to wear a collar to keep them from accessing their surgery site.

Works after young kitten spay surgery
The donut worked after my 3-5mo old kitten spay surgery. Her neck measured around 7.5-8”Safety: The donut kept our kitten from reaching her surgical incision.Sizing: the drawstring cord made the sizing perfect. It’s a little long but could be easily cut. I just double knotted it. The donut is easy to get on and off.Comfort: She was upset with the plastic cone from the vet, but quickly acclimated to the donut. It is soft so she is comfortable sleeping on it like a pillow.Feeding: She could eat and drink easily enough with the donut. I did feed her from round bowls so she could not get the donut into her food. Eating off a plate the soft fabric will get dirty.

Great option instead of cone
My cat had surgery and needed to wear the cone from the vet. He hated it. I purchased the donut to see if he would like it better. He did. It was easy to adjust, flexible, and allowed him to see better than the cone. The size I got was perfect for my cat. Putting the donut on and taking it off was much easier than the cone. Overall a good value for the price as it worked great, my cat liked it and it was durable.

Comfortable kitties
I got 2 of these for my cats due to surgery after care. My kitties seem more happy and comfortable with them on; however they were able to get them off. I think their natural instinct kicks in and they are able to use their back legs to work it off. I planned on watching my cats anyway as much as possible, so it wasn’t long that they were off. I’m not sure of a better way to keep them on; these are cute, comfortable and worth the purchase. They were able to eat without my help and sleep better than with the traditional E collars. These can be kept for future needs as well, as long as they still will fit.
