Excellent training adjunct
This is very sturdy using it inside on hard wood floor does not slip at all. Light weight easy to move around. Since I’ve been using this with my dog her obedience has become even better. She attends to me even better. I’ve been training her as a hearing dog for myself and this has been an excellent tool at a nice price point.

Sturdy placement board. But I have a different use for it
I originally bought this as a placement board for my Aussie. It is sturdy, well made and the size is good for medium large dogs. I also bought the K9 Klimb board. Because of our training facility and what I needed, we just ended up using the Klimb more. I was just about to give it away, when I changed cars to an SUV. My Aussie feels less secure jumping in the backseat with a backseat extender. The door opening forces him to jump at an angle and he doesn’t like that. It was especially frustrating when he was tired from an excursion. So, I put the Huntmark board down for him to have a little boost. It ended up being the perfect solution. We did not want portable steps to the trunk and he was not keen on using a stepstool. So, now I carry it around in the back of my SUV. I prefer this because now I have a portable place board AND it is so sturdy and perfect for him to use getting in and out of the car.I think the price is great for the sturdiness and am extremely happy with the purchase.

Returned first order because it was too small. I visualized the dog in the picture as being larger than my four month old lab puppy. I returned the first pad and ordered a larger one.The new pad arrived quickly, is well built and the surface is textured. Very satisfied.

Look I’m very aware this says it’s for dogs….now hear me out on this before you judge me…..I used it for time out with my children. I got the large but anyways, they both would have to stand on it and couldn’t argue with each other for 15 minutes. If they stepped off the time reset. Worked like a charm! I figured I could also use it to train my dog. Works well for him.

This place board is stable, solid, and non-slip (both the feet and the top). Use it for each dog to learn both place and to step up. Flip it over and play find it games and walk across different textures.
