Fits the old one perfectly
I tried replacing the flap which had torn after years at the top. This looked like an easy job but you really need two people so that someone can hold the white bar outside while another person screws in the four screws on the inside. My old dog door is installed on the far left of the door so was not so easy to reach around to the outside. Rolling up the flap to try to hold the bar on outside is not easy and it kept falling off. So I thought about it and tried placing a piece of packing tape across the screws on the inside to hold them in place while I installed the flap and the bar on the screws outside. Then I added a row of packing tape across the bar outside to hold it in place. I rolled up the flap so I could hold onto the end of the bar outside while I screwed in the inside corner screw (I used a small electric screwdriver which makes it easier). I pulled the tape back over each screw as I screwed it in. I am a 77 year old woman and was able to replace it myself but not without some tape to hold it until all screws were tight. It fits perfectly, is nice and clean, and seals the hole so hot air is not coming in anymore plus it catches on the bottom with the magnet as expected. Happy purchase!

Great product and easy install
Absolutely love this product. The original door flap lasted almost exactly 3.5 years, and finally needed replaced. Very easy to do and no issues at all. Great product. We have 3 big dogs and they beat the heck out of the dog door, we leave it open 24/7.

Fits, works… but pricey
Hated to spend $40 for just the flap, but after 6 years of constant use (4 dogs, 3 cats), the old one started tearing. Works well and fits perfectly. Easy to install. Still as noisy as the old one but that’s the design (magnetic catch).

This replacement vinyl flap for or dog door fit and installed perfectly. Our flap was several years old and not snug on the sides; letting in a lot of south wind construction dust from a nearby site. A great value overall cutting down outside noise and dust with solid magnet and thick vinyl.
