Not Completely Wireless
While the camera and features work well this is not a completely wireless camera. Still needs to be plugged in, not chargable and wireless.

A good, inexpensive camera!
I just got the Adomii Indoor Camera as a tank camera for my pet hamster (they’re nocturnal, so it allows me to check in on it without having to go up and down the stairs frequently). The initial setup was actually very quick & easy for me, so that was nice. It didn’t have any instructions outside of the initial setup, though – for the camera OR the phone app that goes with it – so although it wasn’t difficult to figure out, I still had to do that on my own.Mounting it in the hamster tank was a little tricky at first, since there were no included mounting instructions (even for the included wall adapter – and I wasn’t about to drill holes in my wall). I eventually bought a magnetic phone mount and stuck the included metal ring on the bottom of the camera, so I could mount it upside-down inside the tank (on the underside of one of the top metal doors of the tank).Video quality seems pretty good. Pan/tilt functionality is fairly smooth… but when I repositioned the camera a bit (did it a few times to get the best angle), it made the camera feed reset in the phone app and I had to wait for it to reconfigure itself (don’t know if this happens to anyone else or not?). The night vision seems pretty sharp, providing a clear view even in total darkness. The motion detection works well (for people, lol – jury’s out on my hamster. I haven’t caught him moving at night yet b/c I only check sporadically). I still have to buy a micro SD card (not included w/ the camera), so I can only view the live feed thus far. There’s two-way audio, but I haven’t used this feature thus far (…I don’t need it much for a hamster, LOL).Overall, this camera is a good choice if you want a good, easy-to-use camera at a reasonable price. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the feed resetting every time I manually moved the camera, even a tiny bit, and the slight lack of more in-depth instructions/mounting options (I wasn’t expecting a LOT more, but a little more would be nice).UPDATE: Camera does not automatically record ‘events’ – at least not for my hamster. It does notify me on my phone if a human is caught on the camera (like, it catches one of us around the tank – but no recording if this happens), but not if the hamster is moving around. Only way to get a pic or a recorded video is to do it myself manually while viewing the live feed. Not a deal-breaker for me (I got to try this camera for free, so I can’t complain)… but if you’re considering this camera for a pet camera, it’s something to keep in mind. If I owned a bigger pet like a cat or dog, perhaps it’d be different? Not sure.

Perfect camera for low cost
I honestly wasn’t sure how well I was going to like this camera, I’ve had ones similar but decided to give this one a shot. Now, it goes up, down, and all the way around. It kinda seems a little bit choppy while it’s actively moving, but once it’s not entirely noticeable. It was SUPER easy to set up and get started in the app, I’ve had issues with brand name home devices (not limited to just cameras) that are a pain to connect to. I had it out of the box and was able to see the live feed in less than 5 minutes. Unplugged it and moved it to another room, and it was already ready to see live feed in the other room within less than 5 minutes of plugging it back in. It has room for an SD card, but you can record videos, and check on the live feed at any time without one. You also have the option to turn off and on motion sensor notifications at any time. The app is extremely user friendly.Moving the camera around:This app gives you two options, if your phone is vertical, you can swipe the footage and it’ll move the camera. The directions are opposite (wanna look up, scroll down, wanna look down, scroll up etc) and can take a bit to get used to but super easy. Or if you click on the little box in the bottom left corner, it’ll switch to horizontal mode where it gives you little buttons to move the direction (I included a screenshot of what that looks like). The live feed is also LIVE. I honestly didn’t even notice a second of delay when I myself was in front of the camera. Now, my favorite part was it includes the brick!!! You never see that anymore! The cord isn’t too short but it’s not exactly the longest either, so if you don’t have an outlet relatively close to the area you’d like to set it up, I’d recommend getting a longer cord(type c) or an extension cord to place it. It came with a mounting piece, screws, and drywall anchors but it’s not required and I decided not to mount mine anywhere. For $30 this is honestly amazing. No required subscription to see your feed, the ability to record, and talk into the camera, and anyone to talk back to you. When you talk into the camera it also comes out at the exact time you say it too, along with any audio that the camera picks up from the room you come in.If you’re on the fence about this camera, absolutely take the risk. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do.

Good camera; BAD website and support
While the camera was somewhat easy to setup, finding useful support manuals was painful. After several attempts with their AI support, I was able to download an app manual to explain the app features. However, I still don’t have a clue how to install the SD card in the unit that it is supposed to support.
