Does not hold a charge
Does not hold a charge for long. Charged it overnight and dies within 30 minutes. Cats love it just unfortunate charge does not hold.

Great toy!!! I have another toy kind of like this, and my cat likes this one just as much as the old one, if not more. Its fast and unpredictable, and she really loves the long tail, which is longer than the old toy. It’s a little smaller, but that’s just fine, it seems to make it more agile. I’ve plugged it in to charge it, and the instructions say that there should be a red light. There’s no light, so I’m not sure if it’s properly charging or not. I’ll update the review if it turns out to be defective.EDIT: Yep, charging does not work. I plugged it in overnight and it’s still dead. It’s really disappointing because my cat really does prefer this one.EDIT 2: Ok, I tried a different charger. So the first charger totally works, I use it to charge my laptop. So I didn’t even consider that it was the problem. But as a last ditch effort (She really does love this thing!) I dug out a different charge block and cord, and sure enough the toy lit up when I plugged it in. If you have any trouble charging this thing, try a different charge block and cord. I’ve charged it three different times, and it’s worked every time.It only takes about 15 minutes to charge, so that was great. The charge doesn’t last as long as my other toy, but with such a short charging time, I’m not going to complain.All is right with the world. I’m bringing this back up to 4 stars. If it didn’t have a finicky charging situation, I’d give this 5 stars, no hesitation

Endless Fun For My Cat
This interactive toy is a total hit in our home.The 360-degree rolling motion and flashing lights keep my cat entertained for hours. It moves unpredictably, which really grabs her attention and brings out her playful side. It’s also surprisingly durable and works well on different floor types. A great way to keep indoor cats active and stimulated—highly recommended!

The tail is barely on, looks as if it could be pulled out/off any time. He has fun with it and that tail is an important feature, without it, the toy won’t as attractive to my cat.

Good Toy
My cat loves this thing. When it’s in that blue mode it will restart itself which is nice. Definitely can take some damage as I’ve thrown the thing several times and it’s still kicking just fine.

Clever Cat Toy, But Durability Concerns.
This review is for the Indoor Cat Interactive Toy 360-degree Automatic Rolling Toy with Floor Flashing and Random Rolling for Cats and Dogs (Red).I requested this product on 7/14/2025This is an interesting and engaging toy. Out of the box, the toy feels well-built. I will not comment on my specific cats’ individual responses, as cat behavior varies significantly due to experience and age.The toy features three different settings, indicated by blue, purple, and yellow lights. All three settings are programmed to run for 5 minutes and then automatically shut down. The blue setting includes a motion detector, allowing the toy to reactivate if movement is detected, which is a clever feature for passive play. The purple and yellow settings do not utilize motion detection, requiring manual restart. The random rolling pattern is quite unpredictable, and the floor flashing is a nice added visual stimulus.I put the cat toy through rigorous testing, including continuous activation. I found the total continuous run time before needing a recharge was 30 minutes. Recharging the toy using my desktop computer was quite fast, consistently taking only 24 minutes for a full recharge. I repeated these tests three times, and both the run time and recharge time were remarkably consistent.However, after putting the cat toy through rigorous testing, it eventually looked like the battery was losing strength, and soon after, the toy stopped altogether. Upon opening the unit (see photo), I discovered that the red wire connected to the battery had broken off at the soldered joint. This issue was likely caused by the toy repeatedly running into objects during play, leading to internal wire movement and eventual fatigue at the connection point. The yellow tape visible in the photo is simply for preventing shorts and offers no structural support to hold the wires in place.The unit’s overall design is clever, and the quick charging and distinct play modes are great. However, I believe an improvement is needed in how the internal wires are secured. The wires should be better held in place to prevent any movement between the soldered joint and the wire itself, especially considering the toy’s active nature and likelihood of impact during use.
