Unexpectedly great, even for my scaredy cat
I generally expect most cat toys to underwhelm. For some reason, cat toys are oft really unsafe- with feathers and tiny pieces breaking off that may choke or wires that can seriously injure. My cat chews on EVERYTHING and maybe because she was feral not long ago, but also tries to eat EVERYTHING. I canāt let her near cardboard because she wonāt just chew, sheāll swallow. Even when I find a safe toy that I donāt have to alter for safety, itās oft either completely ignored, scares her, or breaks quickly.So I didnāt expect much but needed to try SOMETHING because sheās still young and wants to play most of day but I canāt be waving a wand or string all day, nor can I CONSTANTLY toss her fave toys in the world: pony tail holders & ping pong balls. So I gave this a shot but expected it to work poorly at best, scare her at worst, (even a vibrating toy mouse or floppy fish give her a fright.)Was sure Iād be returning, but lo! I set on floor, put the ball in, and she played for an hour! Such a relief! I now have time to relax. I havenāt used it a lot so canāt speak to longevity, but things I like are that it came charged so I only had to turn it on and also seems to hold a charge well. Again, havenāt used it a lot but it didnāt shut down after 15-20 mins which I expect most automated things to do, and was still working hours later after I set on interactive mode.Will say itās not quietāa quiet mode would make it perfect, but it keeps her interested so canāt complain. And the occasional āchirpā it makes seems to pique her interest more, so that part is good. The whirringās a bit annoying but no deal breaker.If useful, Iād suggest one with no lights or noise at all if possible. The movement under cover thing in itself is, as most cat parents know, pretty hard to resist for cats, (mine attacks my feet under blanket if I move them at all). And though my timid cat wasnāt scared of the noise/light, a more timid cat may be so itād be worth it to have one without that stuff, as I think itād be tempting enough for most cats just to see something moving under cover.That said, my cat gets very nervous abt most toys and she LOVES this so far and it gives me time to myself without guilt. Soif youāre if need of a similar trick, Iād give this a try!Update: Have had this for months. I often set on interactive mode in morn and it is still running that night and often the next day. She still likes it a lot and interactive mode means it doesnāt whir unless she plays with it. Has held up so far.:)

Fun for cats of all ages
Very cute toy. My youngest (10 months) & oldest (15) love it. It really kept them both moving. It does end up way on the other side of the room But, my youngest does resemble a batter sliding into home during playtime. It can stand-up to larger cats way on down to the tiny kittens.My foster kittens definitely loved it. Will have to purchase more for the many other cats in my life!

Fun but wish it lasted longer
Bummed out cause my cat really loved this toy but he broke the ball tonight and I canāt fix it. He got it for Christmas, wish it lasted a little longer. Heās going to be bummed without it, heās already whining over it. Itād be 5 star review if it didnāt break.

My 4 cats love this toy. Iām always trying to change up their toys to keep them engaged in new activities. Iāve had other toys with things hiding under them but this one makes me the happiest with the cats interest and keeping it charged. The ball stays inside because the āmatā is kind of like a mattress cover that is sewn all the way around except in one small part where you insert the ball. It closes with Velcro and stays closed even when the ball rolls all around that side. The fabric itās mad e of is a plastic vinyl type but thin and light so it has a sort of crunchy sound for the cats when they pounce on it. It lasts on one charge all day for me. With 4 cats it gets turned on pretty frequently when they nudge it. It runs around then for a while after they stop messing with it. Good purchase for us.

All three of our cats love this. Cats are ages 1 through 8 and all of them have been entertained for hours. It gets my chubby 8 yr old cat moving. Keeping the ball in the bag is great for when you can’t constantly monitor and don’t want to lose the ball. When using the ball loose out of the bag, it moves over every surface including carpet, rugs, electrical cords, etc. Unlike most experiences with moving toys, this ball hasn’t gotten itself stuck anywhere. It’s a little on the noisy side, but we were still able to watch TV with it in the room. My cats seem to like it on the blue setting the best. Would highly recommend for any age of cat. Battery life seems great. It’s been running for hours on the first charge.

My cat’s favorite toy!
This toy is awesome for my very hyperactive cat when I’m not home or I’m too tired or busy to play. He loves it! It’s fun with the bag too, but he got bored with that after a while so we took the ball out and just let it roll around the house. It works very well on both carpet and hardwood floors which is a huge plus. A lot of other toys we’ve tried that are supposed to roll around don’t really work on carpet, but this one does!Definitely durable, we’ve had this for quite a long time now and it still works perfectly, and more importantly he still loves to play with it š you do have to clear out cat fur from it every once in a while (if you’re not using the bag) but that’s about it.
