My puppy loves it!
We bought the crab. It’s cute and our puppy loves it! Cons: the crab is orange, not red, the music is pretty loud, and it shuts down kind of frequently. Those aren’t enough to make me regret purchasing though. Pros: It turns back on when the puppy messes with it again, which probably saves the battery. It gives a chime when it needs to be charged again, which is nice. I also like that there are appendages that hang off for them to bite on or carry it around by, and some of them have “crinkle” inside to make it interesting. The fabric is good quality. It kept her busy for a long time and was super cute to watch her play with.

So much fun for puppy or older dog; and a laugh for you too!
I purchased this little jumping turtle dog toy when my puppies were about 2 months old. At first they didn’t seem too interested in it. So I put it away for a month or so. When they were about 4 months old I took it out again. They loved it. Once you activate it by dropping on floor or giving it a little kick, it starts bouncing around and playing music. The puppies will chase it and try to catch it. After several seconds it will stop. The dog has to push it or pick it up in their teeth and drop it to activate it again. It wasn’t too long before they figured it out. They have a lot of fun playing with it. And it makes me laugh to see them playing with it. It is rechargeable, so no batteries (Yes!). I usual recharge it at night, so its ready the next day for play. I would definitely recommend this toy for hours of fun for your puppy or adult dog. You will definitely run some of the energy out of them.

Good toy but not indestructible.
Fun toy for our pup. I like that it has 3 settings. However the recording setting doesn’t work very well. And the music setting is a little obnoxious. I like that it’s washable. It seems to hold the charge for a long time. Be careful not throw the ball too hard or let the pup whip it around. Ours ended up breaking a piece inside and sounds horrible now. See video.

RIP lil crabby
Didn’t last more than a week. My puppy absolutely loved this toy and played with it for hours on end. The joy she had flinging it around as it played annoying music brought her great happiness. Yes, it can get quite bothersome hearing it blast music. However you can change it to just vibrate with a push of a button. Unfortunately so can the dog eveytime they bite down on it. The first one broke within a few days. It seems the inner working gears are made of plastic. Once the teeth broke from her flinging it around it no longer bounced around like it’s intended to. The company was nice enough to send us a replacement. Yet again in less than a week the same thing happened again. We have since retired the crab. I would love to see another toy like this that was a bit more durable.

Disappointing
This was about favorite toy of my 11 lb. Shipoo. After less than 2 months it only works intermittently. Very frustrating.

Sparks pure joy in a skittish rescue
Our dog, who is spooked by lot of things, LOVES this toy. She pounces and chases and races away from it and grabs it and shows pure joy, which is lovely to watch. Yes the music is pretty obnoxious, but each little song doesn’t last all that long and it stops playing if there is no activity, and thankfully it powers off automatically after a while so you aren’t awakened by an annoying track at 2 am. She typically plays with it for 5-20 minutes at a time a couple times a day or maybe every few days, and the charge has held up for over two weeks. The only negative is that the power button is tough to get to or activate without opening the velcro’d closure, but on the other hand that strong velcro works really well.

Not for chewing dogs
This is cute and our dog loves playing with it. But he’s a chewer and it was torn up in 10 minutes
