We bought this actually for our Minpin. She absolutely loves it. It keeps her warm, and she snuggles in it all the time that we turn it on. The best thing about this product is it has now moved our beloved Daisy off of our laps, and into her own cozy space lol.

SO CUSHY And Soft For Our Elder Kitty ~ Especially When Cold Weather Arrives. AWESOME!
Michael, our adopted feral kitty from 2013 (technically; he adopted us…giving up the uncertain wild life for domestication, affection, and safety)… is getting on in his years and with cooler weather coming, I am excited about this kitty bed. We had a very hard pet-warming “plate” that I would put a folded towel over to soften things up a bit in his basket. Even with folded/rolled towels around the perimeter, he typically would sleep in it “meatloaf” style keeping his paws warm in our garage overnight.This plush gorgeous kitty bed impresses me. The zipper section that lifts up to insert the heating pad, is plush-soft-cushioned so now he has true softness AND warmth for his older body.The control unit allows for several heat-timer options (1, 2, 3, 4 and 24 hours/always on) which is SO nice.Also, you can set the heat from 80-130 degrees. I did some research and I glean that 108 degrees is the recommended max warmth for a kitty’s heating pad. The surrounding plush edges provide so much cuddle security and softness.The cord is stated at 84.6″ inches, and this includes the temp/timer unit. We already have the extension cord set up so that the control unit rests on the counter above his bed for us to easily set. We feed it from the bed, up the side of the cabinet, so there is no cord to trip over (he wouldn’t chew it anyway).The zippered opening section is a partial opening, but very easy to insert (or remove) the heating pad. Again, I’m impressed with how cushy the area if where he’ll be lying and receiving warmth, vs the former “hard plate”.No doubt this kitty bed will receive lots of shedding fur (still warm days and his aging has increased this)… but easy to launder this (after a good shaking and removal of the heating pad…super easy)The bottom has the typical black dotted fabric to provide non-slippage.I’m super happy to give him something so cozy and plush in his “twilight years”. Michael has been such a good, loving, sweet kitty and we love him. (Not his best photo…he was wondering what I was doing! and this IS the GREY color bed…lighting varied)

My cat’s new favorite place to nap.
My cats love napping in sunny spots indoors, so I placed this warming bed in a sunny area where I’d already put a standard bed they’d been using regularly – and this is the obvious new favorite.It’s made in the same way a heating pad is constructed, so the cover is removable and washable and so, so cozy and soft. The temperature settings range from 80 – 130 degrees. I don’t think the higher settings would be necessary until winter, but I tested up to 120 degrees to ensure it didn’t feel too hot to the touch before giving my cats access. The timer is a great feature as well if you aren’t comfortable leaving the bed on while you’re away. I work remotely so this isn’t as much of a concern for me, but nice to have from a safety standpoint.Neither of my cats are prone to chewing on cords, but the manufacturer’s claim that this cord is extra thick to prevent chewing through it appears true. The cord is an ample length as well.My cat (pictured) is a big boy, but not overweight. Cats love small spaces, but there is plenty of room in the bed for curling up or stretching out and it is big enough to accommodate a chonky cat or small dog.Honestly, I wish this was big enough for me. 🙂 My cats approve and I’m so happy with this purchase.

Cute concept, probably overpriced.
This is a really soft kitty bed, with an included heating pad. All you have to do to assemble it is to unzip the bottom of the bed, slide the heating pad in, and zip it back up.We have an old kitty, who gets really cold. Its still pretty warm outside, so she tried it for a few minutes, and wandered off. But I can see it being a favorite place to lay once the temperature comes down a bit.For the price, I would have expected better packaging. Obviously, the cat will not care, but if you are giving this as a gift, you will need to do something to make this more appealing; its just two plastic bags, shoved into a plain brown box.As far as value for the money, I like that the pad is inside the bed, so that they will not slide apart, but if I were spending my own money, I would probably just buy a pet safe heating pad, and stick it underneath one of our existing cat beds.

Decent bed with long cord
This a nice standard type pet heating bed. It’s soft, thick, and plush around the outside, but I feel like the material on top of the pad needs to be thicker and have a little more cushioning to it. My cats are geriatric and need warmth and comfort. But this bed will be first come first serve. As you can see in my photo, my oldest guy is 16 years old and he loves it!! 🙂It has a lengthy cord. Half is protected in case of chewing and the other half is not. My guys aren’t going to chew the cord, so I don’t have to worry about that. The heating pad can be set from 80 to 130 degrees. My guy is lying on it at 120. That’s what the digital read out is when you first turn on the pet bed. I’m assuming that’s the standard temperature setting. You can set the timer from 1 to 24 hours. I love that feature because I can keep my kitty warm and cozy all day. The directions are pretty straightforward and tell you how to set the temperature and timer. The pad is removable so you can wash the bed part. Overall, it’s a good heated cat bed. It is a little pricey without the $20 coupon.

Nice controls for both temp and time and my cat loves it.
I can’t personally speak on comfort but I believe my cat is comfortable. He waits for me to turn the heat on and then he goes in and relaxes. You get to control the temperature and time. The heating pad is under the bed in it’s own little pocket that creates a barrier between the pet and the floor while still giving warmth. I have it on carpet and it does not slide around. The quality is great and my cat sleeps in it all the time (with the heat on of course). I’m pretty sure he will hatch into something else soon from his incubation.
