Great carrier
I purchased the Small size in black/grey. We just adopted a 7 pound cat and needed a way to securely transport her home and to/from the vet. I looked at a lot of other carriers and landed on this one due to the features and the price.I am very pleased with this carrier. The top door/opening is a much easier way to put the cat in than using the door on the front. I love that the top door can open from either side and can be easily removed completely. It is also nice that the front door can be installed on either side so it can open from whichever side you want.The size fit my cat very well. Not too big and not too small. Plenty of room for a small blanket and the cat. There is enough room for her to stand up and move around a little as well as to lay down and curl up on the blanket.That latches that hold the top and bottom together seem to be able to become unlatched rather easily. I haven’t had that problem yet, but could see where it would happen. To safeguard from this, I used a couple of zip ties to ensure that the carrier could not come apart accidentally. There were a couple of holes already there where the carrier top/bottom meet that made this very easy to do.The ladies at the vet office loved the carrier (especially the removable top door/opening) and asked where I got it. This says a lot since I am sure that they see a lot of different carriers every single day.I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Perfect for cats
It’s just big enough for transporting a cat or small animal. It’s definitely too small to be used as a home or crate for a pet. I use it to get my cats to the vet. I definitely suggest using some zip ties on it for peace of mind. The plastic clasps don’t give me huge confidence. For the price, you can’t beat it. The top opening is a game changer. As little as I use them, I didn’t want to have tons of money invested in one. It came in 2 pieces that you put together. It’s fairly easy. I figured it out without any instructions.

unfunctional
poorly made and designed. they break very easily and are not safe to keep animals in. the clips dont latch down, the door falls off, and theres like no quality inspection. i ordered two, they were missing pieces and unfunctional. even after they replaced them the replacements broke after 1 use. the plastic is not durable or strong. do not purchase.

Nice carrier, top opens, slightly flimsy tabs to close
This is a great carrier for the price. The plastic is slightly thin and the clips to hook the top to the bottom are flimsy. The way the top opens on either side is simply fantastic.

Adopted a new cat who would not use my existing pet carrier to go to the vet Even though she’s small, it was hard to get her into it so I bought this. Haven’t used it with her yet, but as far as a pet carrier goes, this is a sturdy and good one. I had one once where it was hard to open and close the top opening. This one is easy. Well, we’ll see what the cat thinks about it. From what I can see, I think it will be fairly easy to shove her into this larger carrier. Hopefully.

Not sturdy for 12 pound cat
Bought this in size small (up to 18 pounds) for my extra large cat. Assembly was a breeze, but when I tried to use the top door to load my cat I learned that you have to hold the door open or it will just close. That’s really hard to do when you’re trying to put a cat in there! Would be better if the design had included something to keep that door open while you’re trying to put your pet in. I also had issues with a rattling front door. It rattled so much! And was annoying while I was trying to use this to drive my cat to the vet. Had to actually HOLD the doo shut to make it quiet. Finally, while the description says it will hold a pet up to 18 pounds, it really sagged quite a bit when carrying my 12 pound cat. I was worried that it was going to come apart! Returning and will be buying one of better quality. You get what you pay for!

Best pet carrier out there. It does have more moving parts but I believe the quality is there to last. And it’s made in USA. I did also want the small, but it was out of stock.

Although we purchased this for veterinarian visits (the top opening is so good for our cat). Our cat uses it for lounging and chooses this sleeping space every evening, only liking her blankets in the heat register more. This was a great buy.

The first time we received this product, a clip was missing and the top is broken. We got a replacement today, the funny thing is 3 clips are missing this time and a zip tie is already cut, it means that’s someone’s return.

The crate is nice and the right size for my cat. The only problem is that two scres are missing – one on each side. They are the screws that secure the top to the bottom.
