A foot tall, 9inches in back and taper’s to 8 in front , as you can see (pic) looks to have a place for small scoop to lock under lid, hinges are pretty much plastic (be careful) the seal is not a solid circle (pic) but seals ok , will be looking for better one but this will help for now. My babies deserve top notch seals but hay it’s a cheapy and is like I said alright till I find BETTER… Love u buuu-byye !!š

DONT BUY, NOT āAIR TIGHTā SEAL
I ordered this pet food container to put my cats 10lb bags of dry kibble in. When I looked it over I found the hinge to be very flimsy and the āair tightā gasket was made of multiple pieces of foam, not silicone or rubber. This means that if you put food in it, it wonāt be air tight and will not keep your food fresh. I buy Blue Buffalo kibble for my cat which is made with real ingredients and is expensive and the last thing I want is for it to dry out. Donāt buy this, find one with a durable hinge and a silicone or rubber gasket that creates a real airtight seal.

Perfect size and good looking
I’d like to give 4 1/2 stars, but that’s not an option. I wish the lid would fit a little tighter, but other than that everything is perfect about this storage container. It’s the right size for a Blue Buffalo 11 pound cat food bag and it looks good.
