About Josh’s Frogs Nightcrawlers

What will eat them?

Nightcrawlers are a nutritious snack for your pet reptiles or amphibians. A wide range of exotics love Nightcrawlers, especially Aquatic and Box Turtles, Newts, Salamanders, Axolotls and Pacman Frogs.

What are they?

These are European Nightcrawlers which are slightly smaller than our other Canadian variety. European Nightcrawlers average between 4-5″ when mature, but at time of sale average 1.5″-2.25″.

Are they easy to keep?

Yes! European Nightcrawlers do not need to be stored in the fridge, and are happiest kept between 60-70 degrees. These worms can keep for 2-3 weeks without feeding if kept at cooler temperatures, however to extend their shelf life, especially if kept at room temperature, we suggest giving them a supplemental food source.

Highly nutritious! 60-70% protein 6-11% fat 5-21% carbohydrates 2-3% minerals and a range of vitamins, including niacin Contains essential amino acids, such as lysine and methionine

    Great Quality
I have bought european nightcrawlers from them several times for my axolotl. The quality is always great. The customer service is also very good. I received a batch that were DOA due to the cold weather during shipping. They quickly sent me a replacement batch the following week in excellent condition.

FALSE ADVERTISING. TERRIBLE AND WASTEFUL PRODUCT.
THIS PRODUCT SAID THEY WERE NIGHTCRAWLERS THAT I WAS GOING TO USE FOR FISHING. BUT INSTEAD THE PRODUCT CONTAINED VERY SMALL WORMS THAT I COULD NOT EVEN USE. AND MOST OF THEM WERE DEAD. AWFUL, TERRIBLE PRODUCT. WASTE OF MONEY AND FALSE ADVERTISING. SHOULD BE PULLED OFF AMAZON AND COMPLETLY DISCONTINUED IMMEDEATELY. A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. I AM EXTREMELY UPSET WITH THIS BECAUSE IT RUINED A FISHING OUTING FOR MY FRIENDS AND ME. WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN!

    good – healthy super worms
When the super worms arrived they were cold and dormant. As soon as they warmed up- they were just fine. However, two crawled half way out of the box they were shipped in – and caused the postal lady to scream when she saw them!!! When I heard about it – and saw a picture of these two worms… thinking about her screaming causes me to laugh out loud… each time I recall the incident !!!

All dead, No preventive measures taken, horrible tracking information
Every worm was dead. There was no cooling in the box. The shipment took forever and the information on tracking is purely false as it was here yesterday but say ‘shipping’.
