The Screaming Queen –
My gerbils love it!
My gerbils absolutely love this thing. They dig in it incessantly and keep coming back to it. It seems to really trigger their burrowing instinct. This is far and away their favorite cage accessory! Contrary to what one other reviewer implies, the lid absolutely does come off for easy emptying and cleaning. It’s sturdy and a perfect size, and it’s entertaining to watch your pets play in it.

Super cute!!
We have a chunky Syrian and she loves her box! She usually uses it for her bathroom and to clean herself. At first we didn’t think she would fit but she figured it out quickly and she fit fine! A little snug but I recommend just double check the measurements so you can have safety about your hamster. It’s only two pieces so it’s easy to assemble, the quality is really nice and I like the option of choosing to take off the lid or keep it on. The safety was something I checked cause my little one is a bit bigger than other Syrians I’ve seen. I checked the reviews beforehand and saw that safety and versatility were two big issues a lot of people said were good about the product and I agree! It’s also pretty big so you need to make sure your hamster has enough room. This was way too big for my Russian dwarf hamster but perfect for the Syrian.

I use these as dig boxes for my leopard geckos. They love them. They also make great humid hides.

Does what I need it to do. Easy to clean. However, the board warped at some point. I think it was probably during the delivery because it was hard to get on and off. Then, eventually, it split in two. They might need to double check board size in manufacturing.
