Perfect replacement cover
Love this replacement cover in the dark grey. I’m using the smaller k&h heat mat in my feral food house to give them something comfortable while they eat. I’ve had the mat a few years now, still working. I just tested it today to get things ready for winter. This cover fit my mat perfectly. Like that it’s a full cover, zips. The price was good as well.

Nice and warm feral kitty!
This little heater keeps our feral kitty nice and warm in his hut for the winter. It’s the hard molded plastic one, I would’ve preferred a more cushy one, but this one was rated for outdoors and can take some scratches and such from other “visitors” who snoop around there. The kitty doesn’t seem to mind the hardness at all. Every time I try to add any comfort to his hut, he won’t go in it!! He stands right outside the door and gets his point across to me to “put it back the way it was, please human!” I comply…K&H products are top notch, I also have a heated water bowl for him. Both items are going strong after 2 years!Overall, great product!

Super comfy, Cats are thrilled
The cover is surprisingly great quality for the price I bought it at. I don’t think I paid more than five dollars for it, and I expected something flimsy with loose threads, but it’s held up great. My two kitties love the cover. It keeps the cats warm with the cold weather that’s been coming in. I bought the small size, and it still works very well. I’ll usually place it under a pet bed, and it’s perfect for both of them to snuggle up on. It’s a great item. The cover is nice and sturdy. The sherpa cover makes the warmth last, and the cats seem to enjoy it a lot more, making the heating pad way more comfy.

Perfect for outdoor kitties
I have a few feral cats that use this at night in their cat shelter. It is supposed to be plugged directly into an outlet, not an extension cord. When you touch it you will feel it very slightly warm. When the cats sit on it, it warms up for them and then cools down when they leave. I leave it plugged in all winter as they come and go.

We have an outside cat and this cover fits the heating pad we have in her cage. The cover is fuzzy and provides some cushion from the hard plastic heating pad. We get quite a few cleanings of this pad before we get a new one. The outside cat is 20+ and she has all the issues of an older cat so it gets soiled every now and again but it cleans up well.

Safe and durable
This is my second one. I absolutely love this product as do my cats. I have used these for my feral cats so I needed something that was easy to clean and that I could trust to be durable. The cord is well connected and protected. The pad itself gives off a gentle warmth without getting hot. The pad itself is hard plastic (I got the deluxe cover to put over it) but honestly, the cats do not seem to mind one bit. It’s the only heating pad I trust to gently give off warmth without causing a fire hazard. With the thick plastic housing, I don’t worry about claws or teeth puncturing it.

this product kept 2 feral cats (one pregnant one) warm and alive last year. the winter in ontario is harsh and last year we had -35 below weather with tons of snow. the cats would not come in but stayed on this pad in a sheltered area of our deck. Mom gave birth to 5 healthy kittens in the spring which we adopted and although she disappeared after that, the Dad has adapted to our home and is part of our family now.He still likes to go out and sit on his pad though, when things inside are too much for him!This product is low energy, and outdoor animals will thank you for it. I would recommend it to anyone looking to help outdoor animals in the winter.(Tip – we hooked it up to a sensored switch so we could turn it off and on from the house without disturbing the cats. Not really necessary, because the product reacts to the animal and stays cooler when not in use.)

I bought a size too large for the K&H heating pad I already have (9×12) but there is no mistaking the quality of this item. The zipper and stitching is sturdy, the dimensions are even (not crooked) and the heat from the separate, inserted warming pad heats thru it very well. The zipper leaves an intentional opening for the electrical cord which is appreciated. I will happily be purchasing the correct size to fit the warming pad I already have and using this ‘too large one’ to make a cat bed with a pillow insert. Win! Win!

I bought this for the K&H Pet Products Extreme Weather Kitty Heated Pad for Indoor and Outdoor Use, but the heating pad already came with a thick fabric pad included (not a complete cover, it has elastic corners that attach to the heating pad. Not sure this purchase was absolutely necessary. A thin blanket laid overtop would’ve probably worked as well.

Very nice product – seems thicker than the basic cover that comes with the Extreme Weather Kitty Pad.I really like the fact that it can be completely zipper closed around the pad – the old one with straps would often come loose.My feral cat is quite happy – she is an older cat and needs the extra cushioning along with the warmth of the pad.Good price, good product – highly recommend!
