Awesome dog bed. Bigger than you think. Get the pad.
I bought the “large” version of this bed and almost bought the “extra large.” I’m glad I didn’t.My dog took to this thing right away. I thought I’d have trouble getting her to get on it and then to like it, but she seemed to instinctively know it was a great place to lay down and within 24 hours she and it have become inseparable. That may also have something to do with the fuzzy pad (same manufacturer) that I got to go along with it. Put them together and it’s apparently very, very comfortable.Two unseen benefits, one of which has to do with my size comment earlier:(1) It’s elevated. This seems to make it easier for her to feel as though she’s “in bed” when next to my actual bed, which means she can feel great *and* I can reclaim space in my sleeping quarters that I’d previously thought gone forever. She gets to climb “up” to get into bed now without having to actually be in my bed.(2) Because it’s a cot, when she lays in it it slopes downward toward the middle, like when someone sits in the middle of a trampoline. There is a kind of self-centering property at work here. I thought an XL might be necessary because on a floor pillow, she rarely manages to lay exactly in the center. Parts of her body are always extending off one side or another and so on. In this thing, she always ends up more or less in the middle, with no need for the extra size. Which means that it actually saves floor space while making her more comfortable than she was on a floor pillow.In short, it’s a win and as a final bonus, because this has a removable pad, it will be more durable than other dog beds. Pad wears out? Get a new pad. It’s far cheaper than buying an entire new dog bed over and over again.Basicallyālove it. And a great idea all around. Great product.

My dogs “PLACE” Cot
I bought this K&H Original Pet Cot as a PLACE TRAINER for my dogs to use along with my Dog Care Dog Training collar. I was surprised at how very easy this cot was to assemble. I was also pleasantly surprised by it’s attractiveness and of how well it is made. My dog IS NOT a furniture chewer so I CANNOT RATE it for chew proof based on my experience. I’m, betting if I smeared it with peanut butter any dog would find it tasty. Simple review, GREAT COT for the price, style, and function. I can transport it easily as a whole or disassemble quickly with ease of reassemble. It seems to be made of pretty durable materials. I am very pleased with this item. If my intent were to have both dogs on place together I might consider buying the larger cot size. I have purchased the Medium and my 50 lb dog fits extremely comfortable upon this cot. I WOULD recommend this item as I would myself buy this item again. I HAVE NOT been paid for my opinion, my opinion comes from my own experience using this product in my own home with my own pets.

AMAZING PRODUCT
I NEVER write reviews. But I am so impressed with this product, that I felt the need to share. I have 3 dogs who eat raw beef neck bones every day for lunch on their pet cots. At first, I was spreading beach towels on the cots to preserve them, but that meant washing nasty towels every couple of days. Then I got lazy and let them eat the bones directly on the cots. Every couple of months, I’d get a scrub brush and try to clean the accumulated yukky debris from the blood and bones. After about a year, I finally decided to throw away the old covers (only because they were so dirty), and I ordered new ones. THEN I saw that you could machine wash the covers. I just removed three, year-old cot covers from the wash. I washed them on hot with a tad of bleach (I took a chance) and a couple of towels for added bulk. That resulted in some lint deposit, so I put them in the dryer on “air dry” for about 20 minutes to de-lint them. They look BRAND NEW. Needless to say, the material and quality of construction were never at issue; they were just too filthy to let my “house” dogs continue to lie on them. Now I have replacement covers to regularly trade out when the covers need washing. For $25 — haven’t ever seen such a great product for the dogs for so little expense! I did have Coolaroo cots before, which were great, but the material on the K&H cots is more durable, and the cost substantially less. In addition, the Coolaroo cots have metal legs that rusted from outdoor use. K&H legs are plastic and weatherproof.

Wir haben diese Liege eigentlich fĆ¼r den Garten gekauft, um den Hund an die Liege zu gewƶhnen haben wir sie vorĆ¼bergehend in unser Wohnzimmer gestellt…eine zweite Liege fĆ¼r den Garten ist schon bestellt…unser Hund liebt diese Liegesehr stabil – unser Hund wiegt 30 kg, ca. 50 cm Schulterhƶhe (Gr. First off the product came quicker than was planned via amazon which was great, and secondly, my dog loves it. I got the large pet cot for a 35kg+ German Shepard and it’s great, I got this bed as my dog has some skin problems and wanted to keep him up off the floor which it is ideal for, but did not expect him to like it so much. Its light can be moved around easily and can be quickly put together would recommend for any dog owner.
