K&H Self-Warming Crate Pads are available in multiple sizes and colors. The self-warming pad will capture the pet’s body heat and radiate back the warmth to the source. The 4 corners are slit to allow the pad to fit many different edges. The adjustable size makes this pad fit into many different crates. The topside of the crate pad is made from soft, inviting microfleece while the bottom has a “stay pet” non-slip fabric to keep the pad from bunching up in the crate. Simply throw the whole pad in the wash for easy cleaning and care. These pads also work great as a self warming cat pad or self warming dog pad when no electricity is available for a cat heating pad or heated dog bed. Being that they are so versatile, you can place them just about anywhere for use as a self warming crate pad, self warming cat bed, or self warming dog bed. Nice for the price. I ordered the size XS in brown. Size is 14″ x 22″. This is a self warming pad- no electricity or plug in needed. The pad radiates heat back to your pet using his/her own body heat. The Self radiating style comes in 3 different colors (at time of this review): Gray, Mocha Brown, & Tan.It has a nice, non-slip bottom, & it’s a comfy fleece. It’s not very thick & makes a slight crinkly noise when walked on (nothing too loud). The back has a strap that allows you to hang it up, which will be useful if using it to hang dry after washing (or you can clip the strap off if it’s not needed). 100% polyester Fiber. It’s not waterproof. Machine wash cold, tumble dry. Made in China.My cat is about 16 pounds, & this pad is just about as long as he is (his feet hang off a bit). I could have probably ordered a size up but for what I am using it for it works just fine. It fits nicely in his crate, & is a nice pad to put onto his perch that he often sleeps on. If you have a larger cat that you’d like to have extra mat space for, you may want to size up.XS size recommended for: Tiny dogs, or catsTip: If color doesn’t matter, check the prices for the different colors (& sizes). When I purchased it, the brown was a little cheaper than the tan or gray. Be sure to locate the “self warming” colors/ styles, because this manufacturer also offers memory foam pads & odor controlling pads, & all of the reviews are lumped together.Would I recommend? Used in a home made cat house for the feral cats I feed . I was surprised at how much heat was generated. I tried it on myself and it does what it says it will do

Well Made and Warm
Very Nice Self Warming Pad for My Sweet Dog. I was surprised how nice it was! I’ve ordered others for around the same price and this one beats all others hands down! It is not a cheap cover with a self reflective sheet stuffed inside that comes apart when washed, instead it is one washable piece, has split corners(to fit in different size crates), it is plush, warm and She Loves it!! I will definitely purchase again IF this thing ever comes apart, I definitely do not see that happening! I believe this will last a very long time even after repeated washes. Could not be more pleased and surprised at how nice this pet mat is, especially at the price I paid for it. If you are looking for a nice, well made, warm(it’s not thick but def warm) pet mat for your pets crate or bed, this is the one for you!😊(fyi: I placed the mat on top of her plushy bed and she stays warmer with the pad addition than she did w/o it)

sturdy pet crate pad
I bought this for the dog house mainly for the winter since my dog stays outdoors during the day. It doesn’t get super-cold where I live so I just wanted something that would provide a little padding to keep the dog a bit warmer. On warm days, he’ll just pull it out of the dog house, lay it on the patio, and sit on it since it’s pretty soft. It is as thin as it looks but it definitely reflects a lot of heat. (I tested it by putting my hand on it.)Pros:1) The slits at the corners helps to keep most of the pad flat.2) Very durable. When not sitting/lying on it, my dog likes to run around with the pad in his mouth. It’s been awhile and still not a single tear.3) Holds up very well in washer and dryer. There are little circular bumps at the bottom of the pad that a lot of products will design in for grip against the resting surface. I don’t really care for them and I don’t think it really works. I have seen crate pads that had these and with each washing, a bunch of the bumps came off and made a mess in the dryer. Not with this pad!Cons:Because it’s light and very foldable, it’s easy for my dog to pull it out of the dog house and I have to keep putting it back in. But this is more an issue with my dog’s habit so I would still highly recommend the product.

Compré esta carpeta para mi gatita de 3 meses, porque aunque tiene el pelo largo la casa es fría. Cuando llegó la probé en mi asiento y me pareció que cumple muy bien su función, rápidamente se entibia con el calor del cuerpo y se siente como si llevaras mucho rato ocupando el asiento, la coloqué en la cama-cueva de la gatita e inmediatamente se quedó ahí acurrucada, envuelta en esta carpeta, además es fácil de lavar, así que pedí otra para ponerla en una banca que le gusta ocupar, además tiene un buen acabado que no se ve mal en la sala.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful these self-warming crate pads are! We have 5 of them now because they are so great we keep buying more.Our cats LOVE them. They are soft and cozy and they must work (you can’t really tell without laying on them). We live in a very cold house and they have been a godsend.They machine wash like a dream. I never expected them to still look and feel so great after many, many washes but they look and feel practically new still. Do your heat-seeking kitties a favour and get a couple!

It’s a little thin, I put it on top of her other bed, she goes to it like a magnet, it you put your hand under her you can feel the warmth, good for her arthritic bones.
