I was surprised at the sturdiness and durability of these individual pieces. They are all high quality, and considering the price, these are a bargain. The metal teeth on the combs are gentle and rounded at the ends and did not harm my chihuahua. There are various comb sizes depending on your dog size, and the combs I used were effective in getting the fleas off her, or what wax left in her. As other reviews have pointed out, I am using the metal comb to comb my own hair. The teeth are too far apart to catch any fleas or almost even anything the size of a housefly for that matter.Now I know this is a review of this specific product, but I couldn’t not share the research and hands on experience I have personally had and wanted to share and educate other fur baby parents out there to keep our pets healthier, safer, longer, and to help stop poisoning these beautiful innocent creatures. Medication is not always a good thing, nor is it the most effective solution, nor does it work! I’m not a doctor or claim to be. But I know how to research and test.Do you want a very effective DIY HEALTHY TIP that is inexpensive and most likely already in your home?1) Equal parts Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with water in a spray bottle. Spray directly onto your pooch and gently rub into their skin. Non toxic without harm to pets only benefits. Also spray their bed and all around the house. Huge multiple benefits will make the fleas jump off – they hate it. I wasn’t crazy about the vinegar smell so opted for2) Non toxic coconut oil administered orally rubbed into the grooves of her dental dog treats, again no harm to pets only benefits. It contains lauric acid, which has insecticide properties. You don’t need a whole lot, and in fact given daily, can be used as part of a pets flea management treatment. Dogs love it, she licks it off like it’s icing, fleas hate it.Both vinegar and coconut oil had so much better INSTANT results, literally, as in one day, as opposed to any veterinary oral or topical treatments, which after 2 weeks she still showed signs of fleas. Who wants to see their fur baby got through toxic poison longer than they have to, when they can do it all natural and safe without toxic chemicals. It will also promote healthy skin and a shiny coat.

I use flea combs to comb my pets as regular grooming (not for picking fleas because they do not have fleas), but I suspect they’ll work fine for fleas. I like using these combs for certain short hair breeds as they gently remove under coat which reduces shedding throughout the house. I like having variety of shapes.

This set is amazing! The comb quality is wonderful with hardly any bending of the metal green comb. The larger full metal comb eases the task of brushing my mini poodle! I would 100% recommend these! You can not beat them for the price!

Great set of cat flea combs
The set of flee Combs is a very good value. The price is low and one comb in particular sets it apart from others that I’ve saw. It has a stainless steel large comb which is great for straightening out mats and my cats hair. He has a heavy coat and sometimes it is hard to untangle the mats. This was very similar to a comb that I saw my vet using on our cat when we brought him in for his exam. I think that that one comb was worth the price of admission.
