I got this for my miniature Dachshund who weighs twelve pounds. This is the perfect way to transport her in style. Great way to take her not only on planes, but carrying into hotel rooms.This is a fantastic bag that is easy to assemble. It has mesh sides that unzip allowing you to actually lay the sides completely open and flat. This makes it easy to assemble the bag and makes wiping the bag out easier.The mesh on the sides is very tight woven providing for the safe containment of your pet. This fits under the seat in front of you on a plane. It comes on wheels making it easier to transport. It also has padded shoulder straps so it can be carried like a traditional pet carrier. The straps are padded preventing them from digging into your shoulders.The wheels move freely 360 degrees. Making it incredibly easy to roll. The telescoping handle ensures that you can store the handle when needed.This is the perfect bag to use whenever you need to travel with your pet. My miniature Dachshund fits easily in the carrier. She is able to lay down and turn easily. However, if she were much larger she would simply be able to lay down in the carrier. Also, it is vegan leather so not real leather and it does have the appearance of faux leather. This bag definitely makes traveling with your pet easier.

Doesn’t fit under Delta first class seat
This carrier is beautiful and well made however, will not fit under Delta First class seat even with wheels removed. I had to buy a small puppy back pack to trav with my 4.5 lb 8 week old puppy.

Definitely Beautiful, But…..
This vegan leather, pet carrier, arrived boxed and folded. I chose the coffee color, which turned out to be a rich, deep color with terra cotta over tones. The seams are stitched very tightly, with no loose threads, or odd gaps. All lies smoothly.There’s plenty of ventilation, with mesh panels on three sides, and the top. Two of the panels open, an end panel, opens all the way around, and lies flat, while the top mesh panel, also opens all the way around. The three pockets, one on the end, and one on each side give you plenty of storage, for whatever your pet may need. I’ve tried collapsible bowls, small cans of cat food, and pouched treats. All fit without a problem, and as the pockets are deep enough, there’s no issue with them falling out. It would have been great to have had a holder for a water bottle, either on the carrier itself, or attached to the rolling wheels, telescopic handle. One that folded in would have been a huge bonus. The pockets, while deep enough, aren’t wide enough to handle water bottles, unless a plastic one, but then I’d be skeptical of it getting squashed, and spilling. Thin, collapsible items are best for the pockets.The webbed, strapped handles are tough, and padded. This is a boon if not using the wheels, but carrying in your hand, or over your shoulder. The zippers are strong, and do not appear to be easily pushed apart, by your pet from the inside. The mesh panels are tightly woven, which is a must have, as you don’t want your cat, in a panic to be able to escape through a clawed, or scratched panel. There also doesn’t seem to be a danger of claws getting stuck in it.A separate pad is included to put in the bottom.The handle, as mentioned is telescopic, pushes easily up or down, and the wheels were very easy to assemble. They turn in a full 360’ angle, so don’t get stuck on uneven ground. They do however, clack quite loudly if not on a smooth flooring.My concern, however is that this is advertised as for a 15 lb or smaller animal. I tried my seven lb cat, and she barely had any room to turn around. Lying on her side, or fully stretching out, wasn’t going to make it. She did lie vertically with both paws tucked under. On a long flight, I don’t think this carrier is the one I would choose, simply for the inside dimensions. I don’t want my cat having to sit in the same cramped position for hours on end.This is really much smaller than you see advertised. The one photo of the blonde lady sitting on the bench, with this carrier at her feet, in no way depicts the actual size. The carrier in that photo is enlarged quite a bit. This carrier is nowhere near that size.For safety and durability I would rate five stars. However for the actual ability to comfortably fit a small dog or medium size cat, I would give it 2 stars. A quick trip of a couple of hrs, yes, but anything longer, I would say no. Hence my three star rating.I like photos that depict actual sizes in relation to other things in the photos. This just didn’t do that.
