Great stuff. Dog’s love it!
I’ve been buying this product for a while and my dog’s love it. If they have a choice of this or a bully stick they take the tendon’s every time. They do appear to splinter but it’s not like these are pieces of glass. The dogs chew them with no problem. I have 3 dogs all in the 60 lb range. The bigger tendon’s (10 inch) are a little big so I was holding them at the edge of my counter and snapping them in half. These 6 inch ones save me a step.

Sharp shards! Dangerous treats. Attempting to rehydrate. BRB
My dog took one bite and the tendon splintered into super sharp shards – I took it away immediately- I wish I took a picture. I’m attempting to rehydrate them so they don’t go to waste – I’ll keep you all posted! Ok. Tried boiling the chews and it actually made a decent broth I use for my girls kibble – now the treats don’t splinter, but they don’t last long! Since these can’t be returned I figured it’s better than trashing them. Happy with that. But definitely will never buy them again. This product is dangerous as is. I’m sure it would puncture throat esophagus and or stomachs and intensities. Pieces were like shards of glass and needles.

These are GREAT dog treats, but they do smell….
My Roxy LOVES these Loving Pets Pure Buffalo natural dog treats! When the bag arrived it had an awful odor; which I knew Roxy would like (the stinkier the better for her), but I had to get them put into a Ziploc bag (even though the bag has a ziploc on it) as soon as I could. Roxy smelled them right away and couldn’t wait to try one! I found a smaller one to test and see how she did with them since we had never tried them before. She LOVED it!!They last her quite a while since they are like a hard tendon; which is nice to keep her busy for a bit. Since they are a natural “chew” bone they are not only healthy, but clean her teeth, as well. My sister has a Great Dane who just had a bday, so I gave her a couple for him to try and she said he LOVED them too and wanted to know where I got them, becuase he never chews on bones and she said he just went to town on them. So, with that said, would I recommend these??? ABSOLUTELY YES!! These are a great healthy natural treat for any dog….They are a bit on the larger side, so they probably would not work great for little dogs, but definitely for a med to larger size dog.

its a good alternative to bully sticks
My dog likes these, but they are not his first choice. He gets excited when I show it to him. He grabs it out of my hand, licks it a few times, then puts it on the ground and walks away. Eventually he will get back to it and he will work on it for a while. I would say it keeps him busy for at least 30 minutes. One thing to note..my dog likes to eat his treats on our carpet/rugs. These things break into many pieces and leaves a lot of sharp pieces behind. We’ve stepped on them a few times and now try to only give them to him outside. For the price, its a good alternative to bully sticks, I just wish my dog liked them more. He goes crazy and has tunnel vision when I break out the bully sticks.

Excellent product, arrived as described. Great value. My Jack Russell Terrier LOVES them! And… they have entertainment value! He plays with them like a toy first, tosses the bully stick around and chases after it. Then he chews on it for a bit… and then he makes a BIG ceremony about trying to hide it somewhere in the house. And THEN… he repeats this process many times over a few days. WIN WIN WIN! I even use them to distract him when I’m leaving the house, so he doesn’t get so anxious that I’m leaving.

First time I have gotten these the pupper loved it. With seemingly no side effects. The second time I did the product smelled oddly and the pupper was somewhat hesitating to chew on it. It also splinters (both times). It did the job that I wanted to do which was clean her teeth but personally I will not buy again because the second batch gave her diarrhea. Your call.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, HAZARDOUS TREAT
I’ve never given a one star for any dog treat until now. If I could rate any lower I’d do so with this product.I absolutely agree with the other purchasers that stated brittle, sharp & dangerous for pets. The negative reviews are accurate; although I saw negative reviews on this product I decided to give it a try for my 2 wolf/husky and boxer, all large dogs that Never refuse eating any treats.The package was delivered open on the bottom. When the dogs tried them, the treats were more like shards of bone. NOT ANY ONE OF the dogs ate them, they nawed on it for under 1 minute and stopped … thank goodness!!All 3 had sense enough stop chewing on these in a mattter of seconds. When I checked on the dogs what remained in front of them were they had long, sharp” tendons?” more like,” long bone shards” sharp, pointed, resembling bone laying on their beds. These treats are absolutely dangerous and I wouldn’t be surprised if some dogs end up being injured internally and/ or externally using this product. It’s a hazard, I honestly believe it should removed from Amazon there obviously hasn’t been ANY QA from either companies. I’m disappointed with Amazon for selling this item and with the company manufacturing , not improving their product after so many bad reviews. I would not recommend nor purchase this item again. I feel very blessed that my dogs didn’t end up with some bowel issue after trying just 1 of these.I’d tell you not to waste your money; however if your like me and believe in giving companies a fair try, purchase the item … but don’t be surprised if you too end up wasting your money and end up submitting a “ safety warning review”.
