Post-Surgery Snuggles & Waterproof Wonders—Fuzzface Approved
After my 13-year-old Havanese, “Fuzzface” had surgery, I was on a mission to find something that would keep him cozy and protect my bed and couch from any post-op accidents. That is when I found this magical waterproof blanket.It’s plush, soft-as-a-cloud, and seriously comforting, one side is calming faux fur that feels like a mother’s coat, and the other is cozy Sherpa fleece that Fuzzface melted into instantly. I laid it out once and he claimed it as his throne. He loves it so much I ended up buying two more, one for my parents’ house (aka Grandma & Grandpa’s), because Fuzzface is a spoiled prince and deserves blanket luxury wherever he goes.The waterproof layer is legit; no leaks, no stains, just peace of mind. just as soft as comfort bed
My Dalmatian Lily, who is the momma of Violet and Paden, loved the comfort beds I got. Loved and then ripped to shreds. Ever since she had one litter of puppies, she has torn up her beds at random times. I gave the third comfort bed to my daughter for her wiener dog and bought these blankets for my three. They have beds that are 4 inch thick memory foam, with three separate zip covers over each dogs mattress. So their beds are firm but comfortable and just fine in the summer because the outer cover is denim. But it made me sad that any time i get a comfort bed with a bolster , Lily tears them up eventually. So this winter, I decided to try these comfort blankets made of the same super soft faux fur. In the picture they look thicker than they are so i wondered if there was any layer of foam rubber marking them seem quilted. But there is not any stuffing. I am happy with the purchase because now she can have a washable cover on her durable bed that feels cozy this winter. Blankets come tightly shrink wrapped but easily open up. They do not have any odor and they do not shed. I like that they are waterproof too as they will protect the bed from rain soaked doggy feet, or from anything that would make you wash them. If your dog has a good bed, this is a nice blanket for winter to put on it.

Nice blanket
This is a nice blanket. It is larger than I thought it would be — I double it for my 72-lb dog, which makes it even softer for her on a tile floor at work. She really likes it and snuggled up on it right away.

Not bad but not fully waterproof
So I just received the blanket, I opened it up and it felt so soft. I had read the reviews that were mixed on it being waterproof, so I did a little test. I poured some water on it- no leaking, it probably would have if I let it sit longer. I poured more and no leak, as soon as I patted it and moved it a little it did leak, not all of it but definitely some-might have been more if I let it stay longer. I mainly got this blanket because thunderstorms scare my girl and when really bad and im not home she pees- im not sure how this will hold up to that. If you have a dog that has some leakage I definitely think it will work but probably not for full blown accidents. With that said I got it for about $30 and it is really soft- I don’t know how I’d get it in packaging to return so I will just keep. It is definitely pretty and soft- I think they will like it and I think it would be nice on my couch or over their beds. Its thin and lightweight.

Waterproof blanket that you and the pup will enjoy using
I had waterproof blankets prior to this one but really liked the look of this one. It is dual sided with one side a sherpa type material and the other a fake fur look. It isn’t as heavy as my other one put orovides great protection while lookong good. I ended up getting two more, one for travel and another for the bedroom. Bonus the pup loves it and doesn’t just sit next to it!
