Features strong bar-tack stitching and welded D-rings. A limited-slip martingale-style collar for walking and training. It should not be left on an unattended or unleashed dog. Slips on over the head. To determine collar size, measure around the middle of the dog’s neck, AND around the widest aspect of the head. Allow an extra 5-percent to the longer measurement for a comfortable fit. Lupine products are not recommended for tie-out. Machine wash, warm water, mild soap (no bleach or bleach alternative). Air dry.

We only buy Lupine for our dogs
We have been using the Lupine collars and leashes for many years and they never dissapoint. The durability is great, often we replace them because they just look dirty. We never had one break. In terms of safety, the clip never accidentially opened, which we had happen with others. Training your puppy how to walk with a Martingale type collar is so much more effective than walking with a harness.

I LOVE this brand of collar for matingale collars! I bought one for my soon to be 7 year old dog almost 7 years ago and it’s still in fantastic condition and works like it should. When my other dog decided to turn into a slide out of his collar and harness escape artist I had to look up my order from years age hoping they were still being sold and yay they are! The collar shipped fast and was the same quality I had with the other one so I was very happy. I expect this to be the only collar we will need for him for the rest of his life and for the price that’s amazing. The colors are bright, the martingale part works like it should and no more escaping! I would buy this collar again and again but since the first one we bought it still going strong and even still has a great color to it 7 years later I know we won’t have to unless we add another dog to the pack.

Excellet Collar for my Huskies
Excellent collar, sturdy, secure and very well made. You can use this in one of two ways, as a regular dog collar or as a limited choke depending on where you clamp the leash. Take note that this collar ,because of the choke option, is not recommended that you leave it on your dog full time only use it when you are going to walk your dog. I actually bought 2 of these collars, one for my 7 month old female husky and another for my 4 month old male husky (both 15-22 inch) just different patterns. Make sure to measure and size the collar correctly so that when you are going to put it on your dog it is neither too tight nor too loose, specially when using the choke option. The collar should not choke your dog to the point that is causes pain, only a slight discomfort. Follow the sizing directions that is posted by the manufacturer on the amazon product page or go to the manufacturers website ( http://store.lupinepet.com/medium-dog-traditional-solids-combo-collar/) once you enter the page, click on the “Sizing information” button.Remember, it is very important to size the collar correctly, specially since it doesn’t have any buckles and to tale it off or put in on you will have to slip it over your dogs head.Again, I’m very very pleased with both my Lupine collars and will surely buy more products from them.JJL

Lupine brand is amazing!
We recently adopted a new dog and had to get a collar and lead. We immediately bought Lupine brand. All our dogs wear Lupine. The quality is amazing and the designs are unique and fun. We never fail to get complimented on them when we take the dogs out with us. We love the Martingale style (no slip) collars and wouldn’t think to use any other brand. The only problem with Lupine? They last forEVER!! Which means, even if you get tired of the design, and want to buy another one, you really don’t have to because the quality is there! Highly recommend this brand!

Martingale collar for big dogs with lifetime warranty!
What’s not to love about Lupine products? Very well made and a lifetime warranty that includes chewing. Not to mention they make martingale collars like this one that fit very large dogs. I bought this for an Anatolian Shepherd I rescued. He has the typical large shepherd neck with a long, pointy nose, which allows him to be a master escape artist. But I was told up front that due to both his breed and the conditions he had lived in, if he escaped he would likely run away as fast as he could. So I needed a martingale collar that he couldn’t slip out of. And I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. He’s managed to wiggle out of both his harness and his headcollar, but he has never got out of this collar. I bought the matching leash as well LupinePet Originals 1″ Shadow Hunter 6-foot Padded Handle Leash for Medium and Larger Dogs, but I don’t like the clip on the leash and replaced it with something else. But I still love the collar. I’ve had it for 4 months and it still looks like it did brand new.

This collar is great for my growing Husky. He has a very big neck but is able to work himself out of any collar until this one! It is rugged yet looks beautiful and keeps me in control without using a full choke collar. Highly recommend this super collar!
