This is the only wet cat food my kitty can eat without complications
My kitty has some severe gut issues including a strong allergy to fish. It’s surprisingly difficult to find a wet food variety pack that doesn’t include some type of seafood. This is literally the only variety pack I’ve found where he can have all of the flavors AND none of the ingredients trigger his health problems. I’ve been feeding it to him for years at this point and it makes him happy. The smell isn’t overpowering – in fact sometimes when I’m hungry it smells pretty damn tempting! It’s certainly on the expensive side but as every devoted cat parent knows, giving your fur baby the best quality for their needs that you can afford is worth it.

Great ‘new’ label. One of my cats is allergic to fish which as I found is an ingredient that you’ll find in chicken dinners. Merrick produces food that contain exactly what they advertise. It’s not a label that you find readily available wherever pet food is sold so I’m grateful to find it at Amazon.

Fantastic food that I feel good about feeding my pets
I have a cat that doesnāt drink enough water to thrive on a dry diet so we made the move to wet only. Feeding Merrick dry, moving to Merrick cans was a no brainer. We have at this point had 6+ shipments of Merrick delivered to our door and the quality has been consistent with each batch.We have had a few dents in some cans but such is to be expected in transit. So far none have broken the seal on the cans, but like ANY canned food if the seal on the can is broken, you can expect a disgusting mess to be in that can.Reviewing on transit errors isnāt reviewing on the food itself and its sad that its review is being damaged by people being overly emotional. If they contacted Amazon Iām sure something could have been worked out.That being said this is a fantastic food and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Cat won’t eat this batch
My cat ate 2 previous 12 packs of this food but won’t eat the food from this case. I’m questioning the authenticity as the cans are not the same as a previous can that the cat liked. The previous can had a recycle symbol in the middle. Also the font on the label is just slightly fuzzy but not much. Also one can had water marks on it despite a sealed case. This could just be poor quality control but it’s hard to tell. Also previous versions had some oil making it moist, these cans are just solid with no moisture. I’m going to contact Merrick to see if they want the cans to inspect.

My 18 year old picky baby loves this!
My 18-year-old love of my life cat who is very finicky will eat the Duck and chicken pate . I think itās good on his tummy as we get regular poops! (especially important for an old guy) Merrick makes other food that he likes, too. The gravy kind and Thanksgiving dinner! My cat hates the prescription foods . Thank you for making high quality but decent priced food!

Year’s ago I bought Merrick dog food for my little silky terrier & he absolutely loved it.Now I’ve bought the Merrick pate food for our cat’s and they gobbled it up!
