Great quality and very effective without harming
I had tried another brand of a Martingale collar and that did not work at all but was determined to find something to get my new shelter dog to walk next to me without spinning in the air (she was at the shelter 7 years). She would jump up and spin trying to get off the leash attached to her halter. This morning within a few minutes of our routine walk she stopped hauling on the leash! Now she and I are enjoy our walks rather than having a 30 minute battle of the wills. I 100% recommend this brand of collar. BTW, the quality of this collar does not lack in any way, this will last several lifetimes.

Mighty Paw is mighty!
My puppy and I are in obedience classes that only met once a week. We need the correct equipment to reinforce what we learned before the next class and new lesson. I needed this equipment in an Amazon prime minute!! My order arrived in no time, unfortunately the collar was the wrong size! WOW what to do? I immediately ordered the new size and it arrived just as timely! This is the first third party seller who has performed up to Amazon standards, as well as my own!!! Couldn’t be more pleased with Mighty Paw and their excellent collar which is high value for the price I paid. I wish all third party sellers had their excellent quality and customer service!

Nice collars overall, but had issue with tear after only a few walks
UPDATE: The seller was very responsive and has great customer service. They refunded me for my original purchase, and the replacement collar I received has been great and has had no issues, hence the updated review of 5 stars.Will update once the replacement arrives; ordered 2 collars for my 6 month old shepard pups; large fits them well and they have a little room to grow. However, noticed a tear forming in the collar right up to and along where the brand tag is stitched on day three of them walking with them. Luckily the tear wasn’t big enough for the collar to snap and break during the walk. I don’t think my pups pull THAT hard to tear a nylon collar (?), so I am thinking I just got a defective collar. Am returning the torn one and have a replacement coming. Liked everything else about the collar, seems sturdy otherwise, hopefully just got a bad one.

Great collar, minus the fur staining.
I use this for my 60 lb border collie/blue heeler mix and my currently 60lb 8 mo German Shepherd as their regular collars and as back ups for their prongs when training. Never have had any issues with clasps or otherwise. So much better than risking hurting them on a flat collar. That said, regular cleaning is a must because the chain will stain lighter fur. My border heeler has white fur that turns gray if I don’t keep up on maintenence. GSD is black so I wouldn’t be able to see it if it does happen. They’re both very capable of breaking a bad collar clasp so I hope anyone who had issues with theirs requested a new collar and tried again. Duds are a thing especially with plastic pieces. My GSD has gotten her prong to release one time but never the martingale, gives me resurrance she’s safe. True to size so be sure to measure your pup first. Price is on point compared to other brands. All in all, awesome collar. 10/10 recommend. More color options would be near also!

It Failed When It Mattered Most
At first, I was really impressed with the Mighty Paw Martingale Collar 2.0. It looked well-made, had a strong buckle, and my dog actually seemed to like wearing it—he didn’t resist like he has with other collars. The design is sleek, and the fit was just right. It gave me hope that this would be a great tool for training and daily walks.But unfortunately, that all changed very quickly.My dog is still in training and cannot be trusted off-leash. One day during a walk, he spotted a bunny and immediately lunged to chase it. To my shock, the collar snapped. Just broke. I was left holding the leash with no collar attached and had to run full speed to catch him. It was terrifying—he could have run into traffic or gotten seriously hurt. I bought this collar specifically to avoid situations like this and to feel secure when walking him. Instead, it failed in the worst possible way.While I appreciate that my dog was comfortable in it and it seemed promising, the most important part of a collar—reliability—was missing. A collar has to be more than just comfortable and good-looking. It has to work when it really counts.If your dog is fully trained and doesn’t pull, maybe this could work for you. But if you need a collar for actual control or training purposes, I wouldn’t trust this one. It’s simply not strong or secure enough for real-world use, especially with reactive or untrained dogs.

Do NOT buy this if you have a large dog. The overall quality IS good but where it fails is in the worst place…the PLASTIC clasp. My dog pulled because it saw a cat and when I held him back the force of him pulling broke the PLASTIC clip and he was off & running. Extremely POOR design in the most critical place. I would look for a better design…for a larger dog. The rest of the item IS very well built and it’s a shame that they overlooked this critical part of the design.***UPDATE*** I got a full refund that I DID NOT ask for!I first reviewed this at a 1 star because of the product failure but I have since changed my review because of the WAY the seller responded! I also saw on the sellers site another collar for large dogs that I probably should have bought instead so just to be clear. When a seller stands by their product AND supports their customers, that’s a 5 star ALL DAY LONG. So my review grade has changed. It’s NOT about the refund, it’s about how good this seller is.

My initial review stated, “We liked this collar at the start, but today after 2 months of use, the buckle snapped off while walking which is extremely unsafe.” Within a couple days of posting, the seller reached out to me personally to apologize. They initiated offering me a refund, and they also sent me a replacement collar. We did order a different collar (Ruffwear) in the meantime, and despite being far more expensive than the Mighty Paw, the Mighty Paw chain quality is far superior. We are giving the collar another shot, but regardless are impressed by the service we received.

No lo recomiendo, mi cachorro que es de tamaño pequeño si llega a jalar porque algo le llamo la atención, simplemente el broche del collar se suelta y me quedo con la correa y el collar en la mano y el perro bueno ni les cuento, no lo recomiendo ya que no es un producto que me de la confianza de utilizarlo
