Shifts around every time someone sits on the couch.
I do like it but it does not stay in place at all. The whole reason I bought this was to replace a blanket that I had on my couch seat that was constantly sliding around and I was rearranging it all the time. I was hoping that this would stay in place so I wouldn’t be fixing it all the time but that aspect does not work at all. I do still like it but I am very disappointed about it not staying in place.

Our dog is older and occasionally has accidents. This cover is easily washable. It’s also very soft.

First off, I was sent the wrong color, which is a bummer. It’s a long cover, longer than others I looked at. There is non-stick on the underside which helps hold it in place. It’s also wider than other covers, which I thought I wouldn’t like, but it actually protects more of the couch especially if you have rascally dogs like mine that rough house a lot. It is thinner than other covers and not nearly as fluffy. So, while it fulfills its purpose, it’s not the best quality compared to others. But it also has a lower price point. I’d imagine being a little thinner, it’ll be easier to wash especially with the extra length. So, pluses and minuses.

Soft, Grippy Sofa Cover That Actually Protects From Pets
I have been using this MYSKY HOME waterproof couch cover to protect a 3 cushion sofa from dog hair, muddy paws, and the occasional spill, and it has done a great job. The plush top feels soft and cozy so it does not look like a plasticky protector, and the khaki color blends in well with most living room setups. The 35 by 83 size gives good coverage across the seat area and helps protect the parts that get the most wear.What I like most is that it stays in place better than typical throws. The non slip backing helps keep it from sliding around when dogs jump up and reposition, and it does not require constant readjusting throughout the day. It also does a solid job blocking moisture from soaking through to the couch, which is reassuring if your pets come in a little damp.Cleaning has been easy since you can toss it in the wash, and it comes out looking fresh without losing softness. If your sofa is on the larger side, it is worth measuring so you get the coverage you want, but overall this has been a practical, comfortable protector that makes living with pets a lot less stressful.

Stays put, looks and feels great, dog approved!
Wow, I’m really impressed with this. We got the 71″ length for our 3-seater couch. It fits perfectly for the length. We could have gotten the larger size, but then it would have gone over the sides and we didn’t want that fuss.It comes shrink wrapped and I didn’t notice any smells when taken out of the bag.The first thing I noticed was how soft it was. At first I thought it would create static cling because it’s so soft, but so far, it’s not caused any static. Big plus, especially in this winter dry air.We draped it over the couch and also the lower half of the couch to prevent any nail scratches from jumping up. It really stays put with that rubber backing. We barely have it “tucked” in and it hasn’t moved. I think I may have to get another one to put over the back and top as our new rescue pup likes to jump up there. :-)I haven’t had the pleasure of checking on any spills yet, but with the backing it has, I don’t think any liquid would be a problem.Aesthetically, it looks really nice. We went with a darker color to help hide any spots and I actually like the pattern. It looks modern to me. I tried to take a close up pic.Overall, very impressed and I’ll probably be purchasing another to drape over top as well.
