Recovery garment just right for my dog’s surgery sites.
Your needs for wound or skin protection will vary depending on the location. I got this for upcoming skin mass removals on my dog’s shoulders. I know he will scratch with his hind feet so an E collar won’t suffice.This suit is basic, soft, and fits my 88 lb dog. However, I think it will stretch a lot. So I also ordered a smaller size. I gradually acclimated him to wearing it and he seems quite comfy. I had to trim the sleeves as they were longer than I needed. It’s nice to have 2 pair of these so one can be washed. The velcro closures are very sturdy and adjustable. Will see how it holds up.

Great Product
This suit has worked great. It makes it much more comfortable for my dog as opposed to the buster collar which he hates and can’t get comfortable. Fits him well and stays on for the most part…he’s a little Houdini and can get one leg out, good thing it’s not the leg that needs to recover. I would use it again and again over a collar or cone. Wears well, legs can be a little long, however I just roll them up a little bit.

Durable padding. Good product for cost.
Had to exchange size. My pup is 107lbs. Had surgery and needed padding for his recovery. Pad is durable and think. This is XL. Top wraps good but second strap is too short so I just tuck in. A 2xl would probably be ideal. Have a 3 xl and it’s too long and just big overall.

Don’t buy if your dog is a chewer….
We bought this hoping to have the sleeve cover a bandage on his front leg that he chews off during the night. This cover will never stop that! It is VERY thin material like a t-shirt and really doesn’t fit our vizsla well. The night before we got this I put a human long sleeved shirt on him and by morning he had chewed through the sleeve of it and chewed off the bandage. When this dog version arrived I realized it would never stop him! Will be returning….

Great quality, I’ll fitting for our XL Great Dane
So let down by this product. We had high hopes, since the siding goes up for very large dogs. We have a Great Dane that is about 120-130 lbs, we measured him and went off the size charts. However, the area we wanted to cover on his legs were still exposed when he had the “shirt” on. Also, the sleeves were very baggy.Some positives? The Velcro is amazing quality! The fabric seems like it would be fairly durable, and it’s cute like a crop top! We will try to modify the sleeves by adding some length and maybe make them a bit more fit.If you don’t have a dog with long legs, like a Great Dane, then you would likely be alright purchasing this item. Since it didn’t fit he dodmt keep it on long enough for a picture, but am posting a picture for size reference for other Great Dane families. As you can see he fits well in a XL human hoodie and likes wearing his hair piece!

The shirt does what it says it will. But the sizing is a little off. I measured my dog and she fell in the XL category. There is loads of extra velcro for adjustment at the neck but she’s at the end of fitting the shirt at the waist. She isn’t overweight and the shirt does fit but she has this ridiculous mohawk of hair pluming up between the two bands of velcro holding the shirt on. I hoped she would look cute in her sleeve shirt she does not, she looks like a strangled goose. If you have a hairy dog like mine (a golden retriever) consider that the hair may squash and poof unlike all the smooth haired model dogs.
