It works!!!!
This product works great! I thought my senior dog had doggy dementia. He was on nexguard for almost 3 years! Then I read where that could cause neurology problems. I bought him a pet shield and BOOM! NO more dementia! And no ticks or fleas. When going into a heavy tick area I use a natural topical . He’s been great!

Time to “activate” is also exactly the time limit to return via Amazon – BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE! That this product did not work for my cat is sad, but wouldn’t be that big of a deal if the “activation time” of two weeks to a month didn’t directly coincide and conflict with Amazon’s return policy of 30 days.Since I wasn’t aware of the 30 day return policy (and who is, until they need to return something outside of that window), I dutifully waited my 30 days to see if it worked. I followed all the directions – dusted poor Toby in diatomaceous earth til he looked like a ghost, daily. Gave him a natural flea bath every week. Combed and combed and combed. But when, after a month, he was still scratching and biting and just as miserable as ever, I took his collar off to find that his flea bites were the worst under his collar, RIGHT BY WHERE THE TAG was at.So, time to return it. I log in, click the item to return, and am told that it is past return date, to contact the manufacturer. I contact BioSheild Pet (the manufacturer), and was told in three different ways that they don’t support anything made by their company purchased through Amazon, and to go back to Amazon. Back to Amazon, escalated to a phone call, whereupon the customer service guy told me that I couldn’t return it at all because it had been worn by the pet (safety reasons), unless it was defective, but only within 30 days. So I escalated further to speak to a manager. I will say, Amazon rewards persistence and logic, and I finally got my return code.Soooooo…. Maybe this works for other cats. Maybe I got one that didn’t get the full frequency exposure. But definitely, if you are going to buy this, set a reminder on your calendar to hit RETURN at 29 days if your kitty/pup isn’t showing excellent signs of being pest proof OR risk losing your $79/spend a bunch of time to hopefully get your money back. Now, onto another solution for my kitty…:(

I Had Doubts but Whoa!! Great Product!
This actually worked! I didn’t think it would. My little dog loves wandering off the trail to sniff EVERYTHING. She always brought back a passenger or 4 (ticks ugh). The first week or so I would find one every now and then. After a couple of weeks, it was 1 here or there. A few more weeks and NONE! We are going into fall now and she hasn’t had any ticks for months! Plus it is cute. Definitely going to buy this again and put it on her earlier in the season.Transparency-she does take an oral medication for ticks and fleas BUT she still had ticks (not fleas). They would just die once they bit her. Unfortunately some of them would hop off and find their way onto me or other family members, so GROSS. After getting this, we didn’t see any more ticks at all.

Time, Size, Weight, See
Got two of them. The one for our Pitty seems to be working right off the bat (the instructions say to give it a full month before it really kicks in). Our Mastiff is still struggling I think it’s his size. But it hasn’t been a month yet it’s only been a couple weeks. I like it cuz there’s no chemicals, no smell, and the dogs don’t even know that they’re getting a flea treatment. I would have given it a five but I’m still waiting on my Mastiff.

No more chemicals- this really works
I have been using this on my two English Springer Spaniels for over a year now with no signs of fleas or ticks. They are on a new set this year. I am super happy not to use chemicals on my dogs:)

Not safe for pets who are prone to seizures
I purchased this flea and tick repellent collar for my dog. Although it did seem to keep the ticks away, within 10 days of putting the tag on his collar, he had three seizures. He has epilepsy, which is controlled by medication. This is the first time he has had a seizure in a long time and he has never had three seizures within such a short period of time. I took the tag off of him two weeks ago (after the third seizure) and he hasn’t had a seizure since. I think it is very important that pets who are prone to seizures not use this product. I tried to find a way to contact the seller to let them know, but could not find contact info. There needs to be a warning added to the description.

Worked for our Pup!
I was really reluctant to try this, but am glad I did. I attached to Harlee’s collar with fishing line so it didn’t clang when she shook at night (you have to keep the collar on to be effective). I have no idea how it works, but it does. We live in a semi rural area in Vermont and have experienced ticks every year. She got one tick right before we attached and has had no ticks or fleas since. We started using in the spring. This is great if you want to avoid toxins.
