a good laundry detergent!
i liked this detergent! it smelled quite nice and it lasted nicely although honestly I would like it if it was even stronger scented. The detergent quality looked good and as expected. It was easy to use – just dump in the detergent compartment of my washer. I always use less than recommended. I’m not sure about this brand but they’ve done numerous studies that the big brand names want you to use WAY more detergent than you need, which is bad for your wallet, your machine, your clothes and the environment. I used maybe a shot glass full and my clothes came out nice and clean smelling and feeling. It’s great that this is natural and organic if you have any skin sensitives and I have a front loading HE machine and this worked fine. it’s decent value for the money – definitely more expensive than big box store brands but it did a good job an was all natural!

Great smelling EWG detergent
This detergent gave an effective clean in my HE washer. Easy to measure/pour, and the bottle doesn’t leak when sealed. It also smells fantastic out of the bottle. A very refreshing and natural eucalyptus and rosemary scent, though it doesn’t linger much on your clothes once fully washed and dried. I do like that it is natural and EWG certified. Not sure how well it would handle heavily soiled loads, but it’s been fine for “routine” laundry so far. A bit on the pricy end though, even for similarly “clean” and sustainable brands.

Refreshing scent and cleans well
I found this detergent to be effective at cleaning my clothes. It leaves behind a stronger scent than expected, but it does fade as the clothes dry. I typically line dry my clothing, which leaves behind more scent than tumble drying. I find it fairly evenly smelling of eucalyptus and rosemary. I don’t need to use very much of it, since it is HE.

good detergent but expensive
This seems like a good detergent if you’re looking for a natural option and price isn’t a concern for you. This costs over $35 for 64 washes, which may be worth it to you but I will not be repurchasing. The scent is nice and refreshing at least. It doesn’t feel too sticky and the bottle is designed well so there is no leakage. A decent experience but one I feel doesn’t merit quite so high a price tag.

Night and Day Difference!
Took a chance on AspenClean and I think I’m switching for good. The eucalyptus + rosemary smells fresh without being perfumey, and my clothes come out noticeably softer than with my usual detergent. Whites look bright, colors feel clean, and there’s no weird residue or itchiness. It works well with my HE washer and a little goes a long way. Night-and-day difference from my old stuff and I highly recommend it.

Nice Eco-Friendly Laundry Detergent. It Works Well But It’s Also A Premium Price
I’ve been on the lookout lately for more natural eco-friendly laundry detergents and I have been testing out Aspen Clean in the Eucalyptus and Rosemary scent. This detergent comes in a 64 oz plastic bottle, and for one medium load the usage suggestion is 1 ounce (or 2 tbsps). I tend to run full, large loads in my top loader washer, so I measure out 3 tbsps. If I’m washing a very soiled load of laundry I also add 1 or 2 teaspoons of oxygen bleach, a laundry booster which is safe for colors and whites.By itself this detergent is just fine for normal laundry loads where clothes, towels, and sheets are lightly soiled. The scent is subtle; I was expecting a stronger scent profile, and wouldn’t have minded if there was one. I start out using hot water in the washer and pour my detergent into that to mix, then I turn to my water choice to warm. My warm water wash is fairly cool, and my washer only uses cold water for the rinse cycle.Laundry came out clean and fresh. I use a few tbsps of white vinegar in the fabric softener section, which I find does a great job without leaving any coating behind on my laundry. Been doing this for several years.I like this laundry detergent! The only negative is the price, which is double or more than the name brand gentle/no perfume/no dye formula I’ve been using. It’s a bit hard for me to justify paying that much more for a load of laundry. The cost differential might prevent me from purchasing this detergent in the future.

Gentle on Skin with Fresh Scent
I wanted to switch to a more natural laundry detergent that wouldn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I hoped this would work well for my regular laundry loads.This detergent does a solid job cleaning my laundry. The light eucalyptus and rosemary scent is really nice without being overpowering. I have used it on various fabrics, including workout clothes and towels, and they come out clean. I appreciate the gentle formula that doesn’t irritate my skin, and I feel good about using a natural product. The concentrated formula means I don’t have to use much for each load. It feels nice knowing it’s biodegradable and eco-friendly.The price is higher compared to regular detergents I used before, which might make it harder to justify as a regular purchase. It also struggles a little with really tough stains, so I still have to treat those separately.
