NO SMELL! NO TEARS!! NO BREAKING!!! It’s simply the best bag I’ve ever used for cat litter.
These work. Don’t think about it, just get them! I’m kidding somewhat – do think about it, but I just took my first bag of litter out after using it in the AMAZING bin for TWO WEEKS. The bag was HEAVY. For two weeks I’ve scooped at least once a day, and there has been no smell from the bin & bag this whole time. The thickness of the bag made me feel confident it would not break while handling & taking to the trash bin for pickup, and that’s correct. In fact, I honestly think I could have gone another several days of continuing to use this bag. Possibly even until next trash day. But no regrets for taking it out. I was already feeling slobby letting it roll for two whole weeks. But seriously, NO SMELL, not mold, no flies or insects in the bag, no tears, no broken tie-handles, ZERO issues. I will admit that I was skeptical about whether it made more sense to buy these fairly costly bags instead of shopping for cheaper bags of similar size. After one use though, I’m totally sold on these being the right material for the job, the right thickness for the job, and probably they’re even economical, because like I said, just one got me through two weeks better than I would expect a standard kitchen bag to do in 5 days. The description says it’s 7-layers of plastic, and clearly there’s something special about the combination. Additionally, the bin has different components, including a top that doubles as a clamp for the bag. The bags are super easy to install and super-easy to get out. In fact, the way the bin is designed, you can pull off the top to access the ties while the bag is still pinched closed by the slide piece. So by the time the litter smell can get to the top of the bag, you’ve already got it sealed up & ready to go. I cinched the bag with the handles, did a quick tie, then folded the top over & tied it down so there was a good seal. Crazy good. Oh – I have SIX CATS. They are indoor-outdoor, so I wouldn’t expect to get 2 weeks out of a bag if they were indoor only. But if you have just one indoor cat, or possibly two, you’d probably get about the same time out of a bag.

Simple with wide opening
This is pretty easy to use, but if you are accustomed to their competitor it may take some getting use to. There are less things to break on this and it is cheaper to use which I appreciate. The opening at the top is wider than the competitors and gets less messy so far. I can likely use any bag I choose as well and not just the name brand replacements. So overall this will be cheaper and easier to use over time.Size? People keep saying this is smaller than the competitors? I chose this product over the Genie because it is 9L as specified on the page. The Genie’s page literally says it is 5 liters. A grade school comprehension of math should make it apparent that regardless of appearances 9L is greater than 5 liters.On to operation. This will be where people have to ease into it. The handle that moves in and out is not on a spring and will not retract to the closed position. It is not fixed in place and is entirely manual. Because of this it can easily come out of its housing. The first time it came off completely I had some issues getting it back on, but after that first time it was not a huge deal when it came off again. There is a channel along each side of this partition.As others have stated, you cannot pick it up by the top as you would the Genie. You have to move it by the base as there is no locking device to attach the tiers to one another. The default is to want to move it by the top as with the major brand, but it comes apart if you do that. For the price difference and long-term cost difference that is not a deal breaker for me. If it starts annoying me then I will probably use a cabinet lock (my cats love to get in there too) to keep them together until I need to separate.One negative I find is the bag design. It is apparently designed so the top of the bag will fit into a small hole and supposedly keep it in place while the back portion is folded over the top like a typical trash bag. This did not stay in place for me at all so I just fully draped it over the top of that portion.The window is nice, but I do have nosey kitties and I am a little nervous about one viewing it as a play area. I also have a small dog who loves the “almond roca”. His nose would probably fit in this gap easily. He’s not aggressive about it, but I do have friends whose dogs are very aggressive and have broken some automated litter boxes trying to get to the dump container.I can detect no smell from it and it is currently about half full. It works even if it is a simpler design. I see nothing I need to clean yet as there are no steeped sides. That is honestly something I truly disliked about the Genie- having to constantly clean the top as well as having to purchase the specialty bags. So for me this clicks the boxes of same functionality, simpler design, and so far a bit cleaner for use.

Small, but holds ALOT!!
Got this in & saw the box & it was so small I was thinking there is no way I just bought this temu sized disposal bin!! I opened it up & put it together & it was bigger, but still small. Small enough to be able to move it room to room, but boy does it hold alot of cat poo!!! There is no smell & we can use one bag every 2 weeks without it filling up! I have 3 cats & 2 litter boxes.

Ya tenía un cubo de basura para desechos de mascotas de otra marca muy popular, y la verdad es que este modelo de Neakasa me ha parecido un claro paso adelante en comodidad y diseño. Es una solución higiénica y muy práctica para gestionar los desechos diarios de mis mascotas, y corrige algunas de las cosas que menos me gustaban del otro que tenía.Lo que más me ha gustado:Libertad para elegir las bolsas: Para mí, esto es lo mejor. No estás atado a comprar recambios caros y específicos de la marca. La apertura es generosa y puedes usar prácticamente cualquier rollo de bolsas de basura que quieras. Yo creo que una bolsa estándar de 10 litros encajaría sin problemas, lo que a la larga supone un ahorro considerable.Uso sencillo y mayor capacidad: El sistema es muy fácil de usar. La apertura para tirar las bolsas con los desechos es amplia y cómoda, evitando que te manches. Además, aunque por fuera tiene un tamaño similar a otros cubos del mercado, he notado que le cabe más cantidad. Se aprovecha mejor el espacio interior.Diseño funcional: Cuenta con detalles prácticos como una pequeña ventana para ver cuánto queda de llena la bolsa. El mecanismo de cierre parece efectivo para contener los olores, que al final es lo más importante en este tipo de productos.Aspectos a mejorar:Falta un sistema de anclaje entre las partes: El cubo se compone de dos piezas principales, la base y la parte superior. El único “pero” que le encuentro es que no hay ningún tipo de clip o sujeción que una ambas partes. Si levantas el cubo para moverlo, tienes que cogerlo desde la base, porque si lo coges de arriba, te quedas con la tapa en la mano y el resto en el suelo. Sería una mejora muy sencilla y útil para futuras versiones.Conclusión:Es un producto muy recomendable que mejora la experiencia de otros sistemas más conocidos. La libertad de poder usar bolsas de basura convencionales es un punto a favor enorme. A pesar del pequeño fallo de diseño en la unión de sus partes, su funcionalidad, capacidad y facilidad de uso hacen que sea una compra excelente. Una solución higiénica y cómoda para el día a día.
