Moreover, the product works well for senior dogs, is leak-proof, and holds a lot of urine. They appreciate its excellent fit, absorbency, and comfort, with one mentioning it doesn’t cause skin irritation. Comfitables compared to Amazon Basics
Update: These hold at least as much urine as the Amazon Basics for the morning when I don’t get him outside before he ‘goes’ and that’s the largest output of the day. Comfitables held it all without leaking. I like these even though they cost more. Mostly, since the Amazon Basics and these hold the same output, it’s the fit and softness that would have me purchasing these again.I waffle between the medium and the small – I find the medium covers more area and is easier to put on him, while the small is tighter. Small is fine but I have been purchasing the mediums.——–Sizing: Both Comfitables and Amazon Basics are small size for my 11.5 pound chihuahua mix and that size works well. He has diabetes and mild Cushing’s so his belly is a little big but the smalls do fine. The amazon basics have more material to wrap than the Comfitables but the Comfitables has that stretchy band that helps.Fit overall: The Comfitables seem to go on easier and fit better. The Amazon Basics are a little more bulky and may cover more area, though the absorption pads look to be the same so the bulk is unnecessary. The Comfitables just seem like they fit better and stay put in the same place better than the Amazon Basics. I do sometimes put a onesie or a recovery suit on him (at night or if I am leaving the house for a bit) to be sure he doesn’t rub under a chair and pull it off; however, it seems like the Comfitables may not rub off as easily, maybe.Absorption pads: As written above, the absorption pads look to be the same size and the same thickness. I have images of side-by-side comparisons. Maybe the Amazon Basics is a tad wider? If so, it’s minimal.Absorption: The Amazon Basics holds quite a big of urine – the only time I’ve had leakage was when Bear had a bad high glucose day and in the morning he output quite a bit of urine before I could get him outside, and I had leakage – I put two on him at night as a precaution if I don’t make it to him in time early in the morning, but it’s super bulky. He’s only had two ‘accidents’ in the Comfitables and it held the urine well–it wasn’t a very high output but still; I expect it to hold just as much since the pads seem the same on both brands. If I were to put two Comfitables on him, it wouldn’t be as bulky (I put one on the regular area and another one just slightly above that, slightly overlapping, not one on top of the other).Comfort: The Comfitables are softer and seem to fit him in a way that looks more comfortable. The Amazon Basics have that extra ‘bulk’ that sometimes may bother his back legs. But the Comfitables overall do look and feel more comfortable and no bulk at all.Extras: The Comfitables have a stretch band that helps with fit. The Comfitables also have better ‘elastic’ things on the side for a better fit or to better hold in the urine I suppose, though the Amazon Basics did a decent job of that too. But I can see that the Comfitables did a little more quality in their design and materials. Not sure why there is a difference in how you put them on your dog but the Comfitables show where the place the wrap facing the tail. The Amazon Basics you just put them on either direction. Not sure it matters for either.Urine indicators: I like the Amazon Basics urine indicators where the yellow lines turn blue. I wish the Comfitables had that though not if it will make them cost more. Yet those indicators are super convenient.Price: The Amazon Basics is of course less expensive. However, if the absorption level of the Comfitables is the same, I still may consider the Comfitables as preferable just because of the comfort and softness.Buying them in the larger package will save a little money.

Best male dog wrap I’ve found to date.
Best male dog wrap ever I’ve ever found. These look and feel significantly more comfortable than the other brands we’ve tried over the years. And this is the first brand my dog hasn’t wiggled himself out off. Caught all of his accidental leak without issue. It’s labeled so you know which way to point towards their tail, is stretchy, and secures well. I’m glad I stumbled across this one. Will be buying again. Unfold it to open it up. Lift up the stretchy band that comes folded. Easy to use. Our Bichon poo used a medium. Our mini poodle uses a small. I highly recommend having some on hand in the event you have male dogs and have guest male dogs coming to visit for any length of time. One or the other (ours or the guest dog) always tends to decide marking of territory must occur and this saves me a whole lot of frustration and clean-up.

Leaked on first time use
Hello I bought these for my pug who had bladder stones and since his surgery can no longer hold his bladder regardless of medication we’ve tried. I bought these because they were supposed to change liquid into gel and stay drier. I use another brand that’s about 37 cents a piece and they have worked great except sometimes he peed so much they leaked out during the night or slide out of them therefore why I tried these. Well first night of use I put them on they fit well they are soft but he jumped off the bed and peed so much they leaked right onto the floor. Will continue to still use during the night for the remainder of order. Seemed to stay on during the night and didn’t slide as much as my other brand .. time will tell if I repurchaseUpdateStill on first package of wraps. I had three wraps that the Velcro just pulled right off. Will not be reordering these my honey care are still better overallUpdateHave 3 left in my original packVelcro came off 3 of my wrapsI did like the stretchy band for my pug these stay on better overnight due to him going under the covers or over the covers as the Velcro catches on my sheets or my pug stretches out so much the diapers fall off.I’m going to try one more pack as my pug is fling better as the vet figured out his infection so I can use these 2-3 nights and use my honey care during the dayBut the stretchy part wears out with multiple usage days
