Q: HOW DOES NEXTSTAR WORK?
A: NextStar provides both fast-acting and long-lasting protection against fleas and ticks for up to 30 days. When applied directly to your pet’s skin, the topical liquid is stored in their hair follicles and dispersed throughout their body using the natural oils on their skin. Full nose-to-tail distribution can take 24-48 hours after the initial application. As fleas or ticks come into contact with the skin over the next 30 days, pests will be killed through contact, without having to bite your pet to die. Reapply monthly for year-round protection.
Q: MY APPLICATOR APPEARS EMPTY. WHAT DO I DO?
A: A single applicator contains the monthly dose for your pet’s weight. Each dosage is calibrated to the specific weight of your pet, so it is essential to squeeze the tube firmly to ensure the entire dose has been applied to the skin.
Q: I’VE APPLIED NEXTSTAR, BUT I STILL SEE FLEAS. IS THE PRODUCT NOT WORKING?
A: Fleas only spend 20% of their life on the host animal. Therefore, properly cleaning and treating your pet’s environment, including bedding, carpets, kennel, and yard, is absolutely necessary. Applying NEXTSTAR will kill adult fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae on your pet but does not kill those hiding in your home spaces such as bedding, carpets, or your yard.
If you have continued to see fleas emerge even after applying NextStar, the fleas you are seeing are most likely not the fleas you initially saw on your pet. With NextStar, your pet is protected from fleas for 30 days, but fleas in your home and yard can continue to develop and hatch from their pre-adult stage and continue to spread throughout your pet’s environment. To properly eliminate fleas and ticks, follow the 3 steps outlined in the section on this page titled “What if I still see fleas on my pet?”

Extraordinary Product
Great meds, I brought them for my 3 dogs in Guatemala, they are outside dog and fleas and ticks are bad. I brought a just three month supply, I ended up staying 9 months! That three month supply protected my dogs for over 9 months after I ran out in the third month. When I left Guatemala, after 9.5 month the tick just started returning. Need to buy another 3 month supply when I return. Extraordinary product.

Doesn’t even kimd of work
Would give zero if I could i bought 6 month supply (1 month for all 6 of my dogs) didnt work at all despite my dogs not having fleas from another working flea meds by the end of the month they all had fleas from going outside despite having this on which is extremely disappointing considering capstar works so well. Now im out of the money I spent to buy this product but I also have to fog my whole home cause they are now in the house disgusting
